Method for producing a battery cell module, comprising: producing a carrier from a non-conductive material;snapping, so as to positively fasten by latching noses integral with the carrier, a first battery cell connector in a column receiver, arranged within the carrier, formed to receive battery cell connectors in a first direction defining a column of batteries;snapping, so as to positively fasten by latching noses integral with the carrier, a second battery cell connector in a row receiver, arranged within the carrier, formed to receive the battery cell connectors in a second direction defining a row of batteries;arranging a set of batteries next to one another in two columns;pressing the carrier with the battery cell connectors onto the set of batteries; andconnecting battery poles of the batteries to the battery cell connectors by material-bonding. 18. The carrier matrix of claim 1 wherein said second receiver extends along a longitudinal axis normal to an extension of a longitudinal axis of said at least one first receiver.
