Utilities that increase the volume of media elements that can be simultaneously loaded and/or unloaded into or from a storage library, facilitate mounting of media element magazines into a storage library, and limit access to an interior of a storage library by users during operation of robotics assemblies of the storage library. One disclosed utility includes a cartridge access port for use with a storage library that has a storage container that is pivotable (e.g., swingable) between at least first and second positions. In the first position, the storage container is adjacent an opening in the housing of the library for loading and unloading of media elements by a user into or from the container via the opening. After the storage container has swung into the second position, the storage container is spaced from the opening and faces the interior of the library for access by a robotics assembly.

1. A system for use with a storage library, comprising: a framing assembly;a first door pivotally secured adjacent a first side of the framing assembly to pivot about a first door pivot axis between at least first and second positions, wherein the first door is closed against the framing assembly in the first position, and wherein the first door is open and spaced from the framing assembly in the second position;a second door pivotally secured adjacent an opposite second side of the framing assembly to pivot about a second door pivot axis between at least first and second positions, wherein the second door is closed against the framing assembly in the first position, and wherein the second door is open and spaced from the framing assembly in the second position; anda latching assembly that prevents the first and second doors from simultaneously being in their second positions, wherein the latching assembly includes: a first latch member pivotally secured to the framing assembly to rotate about a first latch member pivot axis;a second latch member pivotally secured to the framing assembly to rotate about a second latch member pivot axis; anda biasing member that induces rotation of one of the first or second latch members about its first or second latch member pivot axis in one of a clockwise or counterclockwise direction to lock one of the first or second doors in its first position in response to the other of the first or second latch members being rotated about its first or second latch member pivot axis in the other of the clockwise or counterclockwise direction by the one of the first or second doors. 2. The system of claim 1, wherein the first latch member includes a locking portion that engages the first door to lock the first door in its first position and a release portion that is engaged by the second door in the first position of the second door to release the locking portion from the first door to unlock the first door from its first position, and wherein the second latch member includes a locking portion that engages the second door to lock the second door in its first position and a release portion that is engaged by the first door in the first position of the first door to release the locking portion from the second door to unlock the second door from its first position. 3. The system of claim 2, wherein the first door includes a trigger member that engages the release portion of the second latch member to unlock the second door from its first position, and wherein the second door includes a trigger member that engages the release portion of the first latch member to unlock the first door from its first position. 4. The system of claim 3, wherein the trigger member of the first door is pivotally secured to a body of the first door. 5. The system of claim 4, wherein the first door further includes: a stop member non-movably attached to the body of the first door; anda biasing member that biases the trigger member of the first door against the stop member. 6. The system of claim 4, wherein the trigger member of the second door is non-movably attached to a body of the second door. 7. The system of claim 3, wherein the trigger member of the first door includes a cam surface that engages the release arm of the second latch member to pivot the second latch member about its second latch member pivot axis. 8. The system of claim 3, wherein the first door includes an engagement member that is engaged by the locking portion of the first latching member to lock the first door in its first position, and wherein the second door includes an engagement member that is engaged by the locking portion of the second latching member to lock the second door in its first position. 9. The system of claim 1, wherein the first and second latch member pivot axes are parallel to each other. 10. The system of claim 9, wherein the first and second latch member pivot axes are perpendicular to the first and second door pivot axes. 11. A method for use with a storage library, comprising: moving a first door from an open position spaced from a first side of a framing assembly into a closed position against the first side of the framing assembly;unlocking a second door from a closed position against an opposite second side of the framing assembly in response to the first door reaching the closed position against the first side of the framing assembly; andlocking the first door in the closed position against the first side of the framing assembly in response to the step of unlocking the second door. 12. The method of claim 11, wherein the steps of unlocking the second door and locking the first door respectively include: engaging, with a trigger member of the first door, a second lever to release a locking portion of the second lever from engagement with the second door; andengaging a locking portion of a first lever with the first door. 13. The method of claim 12, further including: engaging a release portion of the first lever with the second door to move the second door into an open position spaced from the second side of the framing assembly. 14. The method of claim 13, wherein the step of engaging the locking portion of the first lever and the step of engaging the release portion of the first lever occur substantially simultaneously. 15. The method of claim 13, further including: moving the second door from the open position spaced from the second side of the framing assembly into the closed position against the second side of the framing assembly;unlocking the first door from the closed position against the first side of the framing assembly in response to the second door reaching the closed position against the second side of the framing assembly; andlocking the second door in the closed position against the second side of the framing assembly in response to the step of unlocking the first door. 16. The method of claim 15, wherein the steps of unlocking the first door and locking the second door respectively include: engaging, with a trigger member of the second door, the first lever to release the locking portion of the first lever from engagement with the first door; andengaging the locking portion of the second lever with the second door. 17. A method of operating a latching assembly to prevent first and second doors from simultaneously being in respective first and second open positions on respective first and second opposite sides of an opening in a housing of a storage library, the method comprising: first pivoting a first latching member of the latching assembly about a first latching member pivot axis in one of a clockwise or counterclockwise direction to disengage a locking portion of the first latching member from the first door and allow the first door to be moved into the first open position on the first side of the opening in the housing; andsecond pivoting, in response to the first pivoting, a second latching member of the latching assembly about a second latching member pivot axis in the other of the clockwise or counterclockwise direction to engage a locking portion of the second latching member with the second door and prevent the second door from being moved into the second open position on the second side of the opening in the housing. 18. The method of claim 17, further including: moving the second door from the second open position to a second closed position over the second side of the opening in the housing; andengaging, during the moving, the second door with the first latching member to induce the first pivoting step. 19. The method of claim 18, further including pulling on the second latching member with a biasing member that connects the first and second latching members to induce the second pivoting step. 20. The method of claim 17, further including: third pivoting the second latching member about the second latching member pivot axis in the one of the clockwise or counterclockwise direction to disengage the locking portion of the second latching member from the second door and allow the second door to be moved into the second open position on the second side of the opening in the housing; andfourth pivoting, in response to the third pivoting, the first latching member about the first latching member pivot axis in the other of the clockwise or counterclockwise direction to engage the locking portion of the first latching member with the first door and prevent the first door from being moved into the first open position on the first side of the opening in the housing.
