1. A medical connector having a substantially cylindrical shape and having a first upper end for receiving a male luer and a second lower end, said medical connector comprising; a disc shaped valve member arranged at the first upper end of said medical connector, the disc shaped valve member having an uppermost surface and a lowermost surface, a slit formed at a center portion thereof, an upper groove formed in a circumferential edge portion of the uppermost surface of the disc shaped valve member, and a lower groove formed in a circumferential edge portion of the lowermost surface of the disc shaped valve member;a housing with a substantially cylindrical shape having pedestal for supporting the disc shaped valve member, the lower groove of the disc shaped valve member being arranged on the pedestal; andan annular ring member which is disposed on the circumferential edge portion of the uppermost surface of the valve member other than a center portion thereof, and having a claw portion integrally formed at a radially inner portion thereof so as to project downwardly, the claw portion being arranged in the upper groove formed on the circumferential edge portion of the uppermost surface of the valve member such that the circumferential edge portion of the uppermost surface of the disc shaped valve member is radially sandwiched between an outer circumferential surface of the claw portion and an inner circumferential surface of the housing;wherein the valve member is fixed to the housing by joining of the annular ring member and the housing to each other such that the annular ring member is not disposed radially outside of the housing. 2. The medical connector according to claim 1, wherein a screw portion is formed in an outer circumferential surface of the housing so as to be screw-connected to a luer lock connector. 3. A method for producing a medical connector having a substantially cylindrical shape and having a first upper end for receiving a male luer and a second lower end, said method comprising: preparing (1) a disc shaped valve member to be arranged at the first upper end of said medical connector, said disc shaped valve member having a slit formed at a center portion thereof, an uppermost surface, a lowermost surface, an upper groove formed in a circumferential edge portion of said uppermost surface, and a lower groove formed in a circumferential edge portion of said lowermost surface; (2) a housing with a substantially cylindrical shape having a pedestal; and (3) an annular ring member which has an uppermost surface and a claw portion integrally formed, at a radially inner portion thereof so as to project downwardly from an underside of the annular ring member, placing the valve member on the pedestal so that the pedestal is arranged in the lower groove formed in a circumferential edge portion of said lowermost surface of the disc shaped valve member, disposing the annular ring member on the valve member so that the claw portion of the annular ring member is arranged in the upper groove formed in the uppermost surface of the valve member and the circumferential edge portion of the uppermost surface of the disc shaped valve member is radially sandwiched between an outer circumferential surface of the claw portion and an inner circumferential surface of the housing, andjoining the annular ring member and housing to each other such that the annular ring member is not disposed radially outside of the housing. 4. The medical connector according to claim 1, wherein the outer diameter of the ring member is the same as the outer diameter of the valve member. 5. The medical connector according to claim 1, wherein the annular ring member and the housing are joined to each other by melting the housing. 6. The medical connector according to claim 1, wherein the melting is by ultrasonic vibration. 7. The method for producing a medical connector according to claim 3, wherein the annular ring member and housing are joined to each other by melting the housing. 8. The method for producing a medical connector according to claim 3, wherein the melting is by ultrasonic vibration. 9. The medical connector according to claim 1, wherein the pedestal of the housing has an protrusion projecting upwardly, and the protrusion being arranged in the lower groove formed in the circumferential edge portion of the lowermost surface of the valve member such that the circumferential edge portion of the disc shaped valve member is radially sandwiched between an outer circumferential surface of the protrusion and the inner circumferential surface of the housing. 10. The method for producing a medical connector according to claim 3, wherein the pedestal of the housing has an protrusion projecting upwardly, and disposing the protrusion so as to be being arranged in the lower groove formed in the circumferential edge portion of the lowermost surface of the valve member such that the circumferential edge portion of the disc shaped valve member is radially sandwiched between an outer circumferential surface of the protrusion and the inner circumferential surface of the housing.
