Techniques for managing screen input information associated with configurable gestures may be provided. For example, configuration information associated with a performable gesture may be received. In some examples, the configuration information may be received by an operating system service of a device. Additionally, in some examples, information associated with input detected by the device may be received by the operating system service. Further, in some examples, an operation of the device may be performed when the information associated with the input identifies performance of the performable gesture.

The computer-implemented method of claim 1, wherein the operating system service is configured as an interrupt handler. 3. The computer-implemented method of claim 2, wherein the registration information identifies at least one of the configurable gesture or the operation to be performed. 4. The computer-implemented method of claim 1, further comprising determining when the operation is to be performed by an operating system that executes the operating system service or by the application, and wherein the implementation information that identifies the determined operation is provided to the application when the operation is determined to be performed by the application, and wherein the determined operation is executed by the operating system when the operation is determined to be performed by the operating system. 5. The computer-implemented method of claim 1, wherein configuring the operating system service includes at least updating a registry file associated with the application to at least include the registration information. 6. A computer-implemented method for managing screen input information, comprising: receiving, at one or more computer systems, by an operating system service of a device, configurable information associated with a performable gesture, the configurable information identifying an operation of the device that is to be associated with the performable gesture, the performable gesture comprising a blank gesture that is to be configured;receiving, by the operating system service, information associated with input detected by the device; andperforming the operation of the device when the information associated with the input identifies performance of the performable gesture. 7. The computer-implemented method of claim 6, wherein the operating system service includes an interrupt handler. 8. The computer-implemented method of claim 6, wherein the configurable information is received from a user of the device. 9. The computer-implemented method of claim 8, wherein the input detected by the device is based at least in part on a performed gesture, the performed gesture defined by the user's performance of the performable gesture. 10. The computer-implemented method of claim 6, wherein the configurable information is received from an application executed by the device. 11. The computer-implemented method of claim 10, wherein performing the operation includes providing an indication to the application that the input detected by the device identifies a performed gesture, the performed gesture defined by the user's performance of the performable gesture. 12. The computer-implemented method of claim 11, further comprising enabling the application to execute an instruction to perform an application-specific operation based at least in part on the indication that the input detected by the device identifies the performed gesture. 13. The computer-implemented method of claim 12, wherein the application-specific operation includes at least one of play, pause, stop, record, or change to a different section of a media file. 14. The computer-implemented method of claim 12, wherein the application-specific operation is configurable by a user of the device to be associated with the performable gesture. 15. The computer-implemented method of claim 6, wherein the operation of the device includes at least a global operation configurable by a user of the device to be associated with the performable gesture. 16. The computer-implemented method of claim 15, wherein the global operation includes at least one of opening a global help file of the device or launching an application of the device. 17. A system for managing screen input information, comprising: a memory that stores computer-executable instructions; anda processor configured to access the memory, wherein the processor is configured to execute the computer-executable instructions to collectively at least:receive, by an operating system service of a device configured with the system, configurable gesture information associated with a performable gesture, the performable gesture comprising a blank gesture that is to be configured;receive, from a user of the device, configuration information corresponding to the configurable gesture information, the configuration information containing an indication of an operation of the device that is to be associated with the performable gesture;configure the operating system service based at least in part on the received configuration information;receive input to the device; andperform the operation of the device when the received input indicates that the performable gesture was performed. 18. The system of claim 17, wherein the performable gesture is detectable by the screen of the device. 19. The system of claim 17, wherein the configurable gesture information is received from an application. 20. The system of claim 17, wherein the configuration information modifies the configurable gesture information. 21. The system of claim 17, wherein the configuration information indicates an acceptance of default gesture information by the user. 22. One or more computer-readable media storing computer-executable instructions for managing screen input information that, when executed by one or more computer systems, configure the one or more computer systems to perform operations comprising: receive, by an operating system service of a device configured with the system, configurable gesture information associated with a performable gesture, the performable gesture comprising a blank gesture that is to be configured;receiving information associated with input detected by the device;determining, based at least in part on the received input and the configurable information, a device operation to perform; andperforming the device operation based at least in part on the determination of the device operation to be performed. 23.
