Methods of forming feedthroughs for hermetically sealed housings using powder injection molding, including positioning a plurality of separate electrically conductive elements in a mold, injecting non-electrically conductive powder injection molding (PIM) feedstock into the mold to form a plurality of insulative bodies around the conductive elements, sintering the insulative bodies to form the plurality of feedthroughs physically connected to one another via the conductive elements; and severing the conductive elements between neighboring insulative bodies.

1. A method of forming a plurality of feedthroughs comprising: positioning a plurality of separate electrically conductive elements in a mold;injecting non-electrically conductive powder injection molding (PIM) feedstock into the mold to form a plurality of insulative bodies around the conductive elements;sintering the insulative bodies to form the plurality of feedthroughs physically connected to one another via the conductive elements; andsevering each of the conductive elements between adjacent insulative bodies to form a plurality of physically separated feedthroughs, wherein each of the physically separated feedthroughs comprises one of the insulative bodies and a plurality of conductors. 2. The method of claim 1, wherein, after severing each of the conductive elements, every portion of each conductive element is at least a portion of one of the conductors. 3. The method of claim 1, further comprising: integrating at least one of the feedthroughs into a wall of a container such that an interface between the feedthrough and the wall is hermetically sealed. 4. The method of claim 3, wherein one or more of the conductive elements is exposed within a recess in the container. 5. The method of claim 1, wherein first and second feedthroughs of the plurality of feedthroughs are unitary with first and second walls, respectively, of a container. 6. The method of claim 5, wherein one or more of the conductive elements is exposed within a recess in the container. 7. The method of claim 6, further comprising: mounting at least one functional component in the recess such that the functional component is electrically connected to at least one of the conductive elements. 8. The method of claim 7, further comprising: hermetically sealing a lid to the container over the recess to form a housing containing the functional component. 9. The method of claim 1, further comprising: heating the feedstock prior to said injecting the feedstock into the mold. 10. A method of forming a feed through comprising: positioning a plurality of separate electrically conductive elements in a mold;injecting non-electrically conductive powder injection molding (PIM) feedstock into the mold to form at least one container around the conductive elements; andsintering the container to form the feedthrough, wherein the feedthrough is unitary with at least one wall of the container. 11. The method of claim 10, wherein the container defines a recess in which one or more of the conductive elements is exposed. 12. The method of claim 11, further comprising: mounting at least one functional component in the recess such that the functional component is electrically connected to at least one of the conductive elements exposed in the recess. 13. The method of claim 12, further comprising: hermetically sealing a lid to the containers to form a housing. 14. The method of claim 10, further comprising: heating the feedstock prior to said injecting the feedstock into the mold. 15. The method of claim 10, wherein the at least one container is a plurality of containers physically connected to one another via the plurality of conductive elements, the method further comprising: hermetically sealing a lid to each of the containers to form a plurality of housings. 16. A method of forming a feed through using a mold that defines at least one cavity when closed, the mold including one or more cores configured to move in an out of the mold cavity, the method comprising: moving the one or more cores into the mold cavity when the mold is closed;injecting non-electrically conductive powder injection molding (PIM) feedstock into the mold cavity to form an insulative body around a portion of each of the one or more cores;removing each of the one or more cores from the mold cavity to form one or more core cavities in the insulative body;inserting one or more conductors into the one or more core cavities, respectively, as the insulative body cools; andsintering the insulative body, after said inserting the one or more conductors, to form the feedthrough. 17. The method of claim 16, wherein said inserting the one or more conductors is performed while the temperature of the insulative body is sufficiently high that, after inserting the one or more conductors, the insulative body constricts around each of the one or more conductors as the insulative body cools. 18. The method of claim 16, wherein the insulative body is a container having a plurality of walls defining a recess, the method further comprising: mounting at least one functional component in the recess; andelectrically connecting the functional component to at least one of the one or more conductors. 19. The method of claim 18, further comprising: hermetically sealing a lid to the container to form a housing. 20. The method of claim 16, further comprising: integrating the feed through into a wall of a container such that an interface between the feedthrough and the wall is hermetically sealed. 21. The method of claim 16, wherein the one or more cores is a plurality of cores and the one or more conductors is a plurality of conductors. 22. The method of claim 16, further comprising: heating the feedstock prior to said injecting the feedstock into the mold cavity.
