A tile saw includes a base, a frame assembly disposed on the base, a first rail disposed on the frame assembly, the first rail having a longitudinal axis. A table is slidingly disposed on the first rail and a support assembly is disposed on the base. A saw assembly is supported by the support assembly and includes a motor, and a cutting wheel driven by the motor. The saw assembly is pivotable about a horizontal axis substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis. A switch is electrically connected to the motor and disposed on the support assembly so that, when the motor assembly is pivoted about the horizontal axis, the switch remains stationary.

1. A saw comprising: a base;a rail disposed on the base, the rail having first and second ends, and a longitudinal axis;a table having a first bearing, a second bearing and a third bearing that ride along the rail to enable the table to slide relative to the base in a direction of the longitudinal axis, the first bearing having a first axis and a first wheel rotationally disposed on the first axis, the second bearing having a second axis and a second wheel rotationally disposed on the second axis, and the third bearing having, a third axis and a third wheel rotationally disposed on the third axis, the first wheel, the second wheel and the third wheel being arranged axially between the first bearing, the second bearing and the third bearing, respectively, and the table;a support assembly disposed on the base and supporting a saw assembly above the table, the saw assembly comprising a motor, and a cutting wheel driven by the motor, wherein a position of the second bearing relative to the table is adjustable to allow the first bearing and the second bearing to be out of alignment and located at different distances from the rail, and wherein the rail has a portion that is contacted by the first, second and third wheels, the table being movable beyond the first end during operation of the saw assembly, by moving the table so that at least one of the first and third wheels does not contact the portion, andwherein the second wheel is linearly moveable along the second axis. 2. The saw of claim 1, wherein a position of the first bearing relative to the table is fixed. 3. The saw of claim 1, wherein the second bearing is disposed between the first and third bearings. 4. The saw of claim 3, wherein a position of the third bearing relative to the table is fixed. 5. The saw of claim 1, further comprising a first bearing support coupled to the table to support the first bearing and a second bearing support coupled to the table to support the second bearing. 6. The saw of claim 5, wherein the second bearing support is moveable relative to the table to adjust the position of the second bearing. 7. The saw of claim 1, wherein the first and second bearings comprise rollers. 8. The saw of claim 1, wherein the first bearing is located at a first distance from the rail, the second bearing is located at a second distance from the rail, and the third bearing is located at a third distance from the rail, and wherein the second distance is not equal to the first or third distances. 9. The saw of claim 8, wherein the difference between the first distance and the second distance is between about 1 mm and about 5 mm. 10. The saw of claim 1, wherein the second bearing is adjustable to ensure better alignment between the bearings and the rail. 11. The saw of claim 1, wherein the wheels comprise grooves that engage the rails and the adjustability of the second bearing allows for reduction in the width of the grooves regardless of manufacturing tolerances. 12. A saw comprising: a base;a rail disposed on the base, the rail having a longitudinal axis;a table having a first bearing and a second bearing that ride along the rail to enable the table to slide relative to the base in a direction of the longitudinal axis, the first bearing having a first axis and a first wheel rotationally disposed on the first axis and the second bearing, having a second axis and a second wheel rotationally disposed on the second axis, the first wheel and the second wheel arranged axially between the first bearing and the second bearing, respectively, and the table, at least one of the first wheel and the second wheel being axially movable relative to its axis;a third bearing on the table that rides along the rail, the second bearing being disposed between the first and third bearings; anda support assembly disposed on the base and supporting a saw assembly above the table, the saw assembly comprising a motor, and a cutting wheel driven by the motor, wherein the first and second bearings are disposed at different distances from the rail, and the first and second axes being disposed in a plane that is inclined relative to the longitudinal axis of the rail, wherein the rail has a portion that is contacted by the first and second wheels, the table being movable beyond the first end during operation of the saw assembly, by moving the table so that the first wheel does not contact the portion; andwherein the second wheel is linearly moveable along the second axis. 13. The saw of claim 12, wherein the second and third bearings are disposed at different distances from the rail. 14. The saw of claim 13, wherein the first and third bearings are disposed at substantially the same distance from the rail. 15. The saw of claim 12, wherein the second bearing is disposed approximately 1 mm to approximately 5 mm closer to the rail than the first bearing. 16. The saw of claim 12, wherein the second bearing is adjustable. 17. The saw of claim 12, wherein the distance between the first and second bearings inhibits binding of the bearings with the rail during sliding. 18. The saw of claim 12, wherein the first and second bearings comprise rollers with grooves that roll along the rail.
