A container lid with a food compartment is provided. The lid may be constructed in three parts: an outer food container shell, an inner food container shell and a food compartment cover. The outer food container shell is constructed to fit tightly on a beverage container and has at least one beverage transfer hole that allows the beverage to travel into the outer food container shell.
