A storage stable package according to claim 1, wherein the package is a plastic bottle or container. 3. A storage stable package according to claim 1, wherein the iodophor is povidone iodine. 4. A storage stable package according to claim 1, wherein the composition does not contain a stabilizer selected from the group consisting of an iodide salt, an iodate salt and an alkanizing agent. 5. A storage stable package according to claim 1, wherein at least a part of the iodophor is encapsulated inside the liposome. 6. A storage stable package according to claim 2, wherein the plastic bottle or container is made of polypropylene (PP), Polyethylene (PE), cycloolefine copolymer (COC), silicone, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), polyvinylchlorid (PVC), ethylene vinylalkohol (EVOH), polyethylene terephthalate (PET) or mixtures thereof. 7. A storage stable package according to claim 2, wherein the plastic bottle or container is made of a material that reacts with elemental iodine, gets stained by elemental iodine or elemental iodine leaches through the material, under storing conditions. 8. A storage stable package according to claim 1, wherein the composition additionally contains one or more anti-inflammatory agents which promotes the healing of wounds. 9. A storage stable package according to claim 8, wherein the anti-inflammatory agent is an germicidal agent, an antibiotic, a coricosteroid or a wound healing promoting agent. 10. A storage stable package according to claim 9, wherein the wound healing promoting agent comprises dexpanthenol, an allantoine, an azulene, a tannin, or a compound from the vitamin B series. 11. A storage stable package according to claim 1, wherein the liposome particles have, before they are dried, a substantially uniform size in the range between about 1 and about 100 μm. 12. A storage stable package according to claim 1, wherein the composition can be transformed to the applicable preparation upon mixing with a liquid pharmaceutically acceptable medium. 13. A storage stable package according to claim 12, wherein the liquid pharmaceutically acceptable medium comprises water, oil, an ointment basis substance or a gel forming substance. 14. A storage stable package according to claim 13, wherein the liposome, composition contains, as an additive and adjuvant, a conserving agent, an antioxidant or a consistency-forming additive. 15. A storage stable package according to claim 11, wherein the liposome carrier particles have, before they are dried, a substantially uniform size in the range between about 1 μm and about 70 μm. 16. A method of providing the storage stable package of claim 1, comprising the steps of: a. providing a iodophor containing particulate pharmaceutically acceptable liposome preparation, wherein the preparation comprises at least one gel-forming substance selected from the group consisting of agar, an alginate, alginic acid, arabic gum, gelatine, starch, tragacanth gum, methylcellulose, hydroxvethylcellulose, carboxymethylcellulose, polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) and polyacrylic acid,b. freeze-drying the iodophor containing pharmaceutically acceptable liposome preparation to obtain a dry composition, andc. placing the freeze-dried iodophor containing pharmaceutically acceptable liposome composition in the storage stable package, wherein the storage stable package is made of plastic material, paper or cardboard.
