A wipes dispenser includes a container having an interior holding a plurality of wipes. A grip orifice provides communication between the interior and the exterior of the container, and the grip orifice serves to prevent wipes from falling back into the interior. The dispenser also includes a rip fence, and a lead end of a lead wipe of the plurality of wet wipes within the container extends through the grip orifice and then through the rip fence such that pulling on the lead end to pull the lead wipe against the rip fence causes the remainder of the lead wipe to be removed from the container and become disassociated with the remaining wipes of the plurality of wipes. As the lead end is pulled against the rip fence, the following wipe of the plurality of wipes is pulled through the grip orifice to provide its lead end outside of the interior of the container, and the grip orifice prevents this lead end of the following wipe from falling back into the interior of the container.

A wipes dispenser comprising: a container having an interior holding a plurality of wipes;a grip orifice extending through a feed surface defining said container, said grip orifice providing communication between said interior and the exterior of said container; anda pivoting rip fence separate and distinct from said grip orifice—and pivoting when employed to separate a lead wipe of said plurality of wipes from a following wipe of said plurality of wipes, said pivoting rip fence including: a body member pivotally secured to said feed surface at a pivot point located on one side of said grip orifice, andan aperture in said body member, said aperture defining a tear geometry, wherein a lead end of a lead wipe of said plurality of wipes extends through said grip orifice and then through said aperture in said rip fence, said rip fence being structured and positioned relative to said grip orifice such that said lead end of said lead wipe is pulled along a tear arc to pull said lead wipe against said tear geometry to cause the remainder of said lead wipe to be removed from said container and become disassociated with the remaining wipes of said plurality of wipes, while a following wipe of said plurality of wipes is pulled through said grip orifice to provide its lead end outside of said interior of said container, said grip orifice structured to prevent said lead end of said following wipe from falling back into said interior and said body member pivoting in response to a pressure point established when said lead wipe is pulled against said tear geometry. 2. The wipes dispenser of claim 1, wherein said rip fence is spaced from said grip orifice such that said body member thereof (a) can pivot to at least partially extend over said grip orifice and (b) can pivot such that said body member does not extend over said grip orifice such that a lead end of a wipe extending through said grip orifice can be accessed by an individual's fingers for threading through said aperture of said rip fence. 3. The wipes dispenser of claim 1, wherein said feed surface is provided in a lid, said grip orifice being provided in said lid to provide communication between the interior and exterior of said container. 4. The wipes dispenser of claim 3, further comprising a lid cap pivoting between and open position and a closed position, said lid cap covering said grip orifice in said closed position to seal the communication between said interior and exterior of said container. 5. The wipes dispenser of claim 4, wherein said lid cap, in said open position interferes with a pulling of said lead wipe in a direction along said tear arc. 6. The wipes dispenser of claim 5, wherein said lid cap covers said rip fence in said closed position. 7. The wipes dispenser of claim 1, wherein said grip orifice provides a fixed position for withdraw of said remainder of said lead wipe from said container. 8. The wipes dispenser of claim 1, wherein said tear geometry is a narrow wipe slot, and said aperture further defines sloped sides forming a slot feed that urges said lead wipe into and against said wipe slot, when said lead wipe is pulled along said tear arc. 9. The wipes dispenser of claim 1, wherein said container is selected from the group consisting of rigid containers and flexible containers. 10. The wipes dispenser of claim 9, wherein said container is a flexible container having a flexible wall, and the wipes dispenser further includes a raised portion secured to said flexible wall, said raised portion providing said feed surface. 11. The wipes dispenser of claim 10, wherein said grip orifice and said rip fence are provided in said raised portion. 12. The wipes dispenser of claim 1, wherein said plurality of wipes are provided as part of a web of wipes, with individual wipes of said plurality of wipes being defined between perforations in said web of wipes. 13. The wipes dispenser of claim 1, where said plurality of wipes is provided as interleaved wipes. 14. The wipes dispenser of claim 1, wherein said aperture in said body member is further structured such that said lead end of said lead wipe can be pulled outside of said tear arc to pull said lead wipe through said aperture and avoid pulling said lead wipe against said tear geometry. 15. The wipes dispenser of claim 1, wherein said pivoting rip fence does not grip wipes. 16. The wipes dispenser of claim 15, wherein said grip orifice does not serve to separate wipes. 17. A wipes dispenser comprising: a container having an interior holding a plurality of wipes including a lead wipe and a following wipe;grip orifice means for gripping said plurality of wipes so as to prevent their falling back into said container after being pulled at least partially through said grip orifice, said grip orifice means extending through a feed surface defining said container; andpivoting rip fence means for separating a lead wipe from a following wipe as said lead wipe is pulled through said rip fence means, said lead wipe pulling said following wipe directly behind it, said pivoting rip fence means being separate and distinct from said grip orifice means.
