The mounting system of claim 1, the adjustable riser further comprising: a channel associated with the base member and the attachment member, the channel being configured to receive a fastener;wherein the fastener securely holds the attachment member to the base member. 3. The mounting system of claim 1, the attachment means comprising: a first set of interlocking channels associated with the base member; anda second set of interlocking channels associated with the attachment member;wherein the first set of interlocking channels are configured to interlock with the second set of interlocking channels. 4. The mounting system of claim 3, the first set of interlocking channels comprising: a plurality of channels, each channel having: a first surface;an opposing second surface; anda inner surface;wherein the first surface and the second surface are oriented at an angle less than 90 degrees relative to the inner surface. 5. The mounting system of claim 1, the adjustable riser further comprising: a channel associated with the base member; anda fastener configured to extend through the channel and configured to securely fasten the adjustable riser to the mounting plate. 6. The mounting system of claim 1, wherein the adjustable riser is configured to pivot relative to the mounting plate. 7. The mounting system of claim 1, the base member further comprising: a footing configured to elevate a bottom surface of the base member above a raised surface of the mounting plate. 8. The mounting system of claim 1, the elastic membrane comprising: an upper surface bonded to a bottom surface of the mounting plate; anda lower surface having: a first surface area, the first surface area extending peripherally along at least a portion of a perimeter of the lower surface; anda second surface area, the second surface area being at least partially enclosed within the first surface area, the second surface area being positioned at least partially below the mounting plate, the second surface area being separable from the support structure such that the second surface area elastically extends in the direction away from the support structure as the force is exerted on the object. 9. An adjustable riser for a mounting system, comprising: a base member having an first attachment means for coupling the riser to a mounting plate of the mounting system;an attachment member configured to couple the riser to an object;an second attachment means configured to adjustably secure the attachment member to the base member in a fixed position, the second attachment means providing height adjustment of the attachment member relative to the base member the second attachment means, having:a first set of interlocking channels associated with the base member, the first set of interlocking channels, having: a plurality of channels, each channel having:a first surface;an opposing second surface; anda inner surface;wherein the first surface and the second surface are oriented at an angle less than 90 degrees relative to the inner surface;a second set of interlocking channels associated with the attachment member;wherein the first set of interlocking channels are configured to interlock with the second set of interlocking channels; anda footing for elevating the base member above a raised portion of the mounting plate. 10. The mounting system of claim 9, the adjustable riser further comprising; a channel associated with the base member and the attachment member, the channel being configured to receive a fastener;wherein the fastener securely holds the attachment member to the base member. 11. The mounting system of claim 9, wherein the adjustable riser is configured to pivot relative to the mounting plate. 12. A method to adjustably mount an object to a structure, comprising: providing the mounting system of claim 1;thermally bonding the elastic member to the support structure;securing the adjustable riser to the mounting plate;adjusting the attachment member relative to the base member via the attachment means; andsecuring the object to the adjustable riser. 13. The method of claim 12, further comprising: rotatably adjusting the adjustable riser.
