The vehicle seat as claimed in claim 1, wherein the pan frame is fastened to the one side frame with a front fastening member and a back fastening member, andat least a part of the main body of the load sensor is arranged more rearward than a center of the front fastening member and more frontward than a center of the back fastening member. 5. The vehicle seat as claimed in claim 1, wherein the pan frame is fastened to the one side frame with a front fastening member and a back fastening member, anda connector is attached to the main body of the load sensor and is arranged more rearward than a center of the front fastening member and more frontward than a center of the back fastening member. 6. The vehicle seat as claimed in claim 1, wherein the pan frame is fastened to the one side frame with a front fastening member and a back fastening member, andthe shaft center of the rod of the load sensor is arranged more rearward than a center of the front fastening member and more frontward than a center of the back fastening member. 7. The vehicle seat as claimed in claim 1, wherein the pan frame includes a cross-sectional U-shape section that is arranged more frontward than the shaft center of the rod of the load sensor, the cross-sectional U-shape section covering an inside surface and an outside surface of the one side frame. 8. A vehicle seat, comprising: a load sensor configured to measure a load applied from an occupant, the load sensor having a main body and a rod extending from the main body;a seat cushion frame comprising a right side frame and a left side frame; anda pan frame, whereinthe load sensor is provided at the seat cushion frame,front parts of the right and left side frames are covered with the pan frame from above,the pan frame is fastened to an upper flange section of one of the right and left side frames with a front fastening member and a back fastening member, the upper flange section projecting inward from the one side frame toward a center of the vehicle seat, andat least a part of the main body of the load sensor is arranged more rearward than a center of the front fastening member and more forward than a center of the back fastening member. 9. The vehicle seat as claimed in claim 8, wherein a connector is attached to the main body of the load sensor and is arranged more rearward than the center of the front fastening member and more frontward than the center of the back fastening member. 10. The vehicle seat as claimed in claim 8, wherein a shaft center of the rod of the load sensor is arranged more rearward than the center of the front fastening member and more frontward than the center of the back fastening member. 11. The vehicle seat as claimed in claim 8, wherein the pan frame includes a downward extending section that is arranged more frontward than a shaft center of the rod of the load sensor and that is arranged, with respect to the center of the vehicle seat, outside of the one side frame, andthe downward extending section is arranged, with respect to the center of the vehicle seat, outside of the rod of the load sensor. 12. The vehicle seat as claimed in claim 8, wherein a connector is attached to the main body of the load sensor and is arranged more rearward than the center of the front fastening member. 13. The vehicle seat as claimed in claim 8, wherein a rear end of the rod of the load sensor is arranged more rearward than the center of the front fastening member. 14. The vehicle seat as claimed in claim 8, wherein a shaft center of the rod of the load sensor is arranged more rearward than the center of the front fastening member. 15. The vehicle seat as claimed in claim 11, wherein the downward extending section is arranged, with respect to the center of the vehicle seat, outside of a vertical plane that passes through a tip portion of the rod of the load sensor and that is parallel with a lower rail member. 16. A vehicle seat, comprising: a load sensor configured to measure a load applied from an occupant, the load sensor having a main body and a rod extending from the main body;a seat cushion frame comprising a right side frame and a left side frame; anda pan frame, whereinthe load sensor is provided at the seat cushion frame,front parts of the right and left side frames are covered with the pan frame from above,the pan frame is fastened to an upper flange section of one of the right and left side frames with a front fastening member and a back fastening member, the upper flange section projecting inward from the one side frame toward a center of the vehicle seat,at least a part of the main body of the load sensor is arranged more rearward than a center of the front fastening member and more frontward than a center of the back fastening member, anda connector is attached to the main body of the load sensor and is arranged more rearward than the center of the front fastening member and more frontward than the center of the back fastening member. 17. The vehicle seat as claimed in claim 11, wherein a rear end of the rod of the load sensor is arranged more rearward than the center of the front fastening member. 18. The vehicle seat as claimed in claim 16, wherein a shaft center of the rod of the load sensor is arranged more rearward than the center of the front fastening member and more frontward than the center of the back fastening member. 19. The vehicle seat as claimed in claim 16, wherein a rear end of the rod of the load sensor is arranged more rearward than the center of the front fastening member. 20. The vehicle seat as claimed in claim 16, wherein the load sensor is attached to the one side frame by a bracket member, a rear end of the bracket member being arranged more rearward than the center of the front fastening member. 21. The vehicle seat as claimed in claim 17, wherein the downward extending section is arranged, with respect to the center of the vehicle seat, outside of a vertical plane that passes through a tip portion of the rod of the load sensor and that is parallel with a lower rail member. 22. A method of using a vehicle seat, the method comprising: fixing the vehicle seat as claimed in claim 1 to a vehicle. 23. A method of using a vehicle seat, the method comprising: fixing the vehicle seat as claimed in claim 8 to a vehicle. 24. A method of using a vehicle seat, the method comprising: fixing the vehicle seat as claimed in claim 16 to a vehicle. 25. A method of assembling a vehicle seat that comprises a seat cushion frame comprising a right side frame and a left side frame, the method comprising: attaching, to the seat cushion frame, a load sensor that (a) is configured to measure a load applied from an occupant, (b) has a main body, and (c) has a rod extending from the main body; andcovering from above front parts of the right and left side frames with a pan frame so that (1) a downward extending section of a front part of the pan frame is arranged more frontward than a shaft center of the rod of the load sensor and (2) the downward extending section is arranged, with respect to a center of the vehicle seat, outside of one of the right and left side frames. 26. A method of assembling a vehicle seat that comprises a seat cushion frame comprising a right side frame and a left side frame, the method comprising: attaching, to the seat cushion frame, a load sensor that (a) is configured to measure a load applied from an occupant, (b) has a main body, and (c) has a rod extending from the main body; andfastening a pan frame to an upper flange section of one of the right and left side frames with a front fastening member and a back fastening member so that (1) front parts of the right and left side frames are covered with the pan frame from above and (2) at least a part of the main body of the load sensor is arranged more rearward than a center of the front fastening member and more forward than a center of the back fastening member,wherein the upper flange section projects inward from the one side frame toward a center of the vehicle seat. 27. The method as claimed in claim 26, further comprising: attaching a connector to the main body of the load sensor so that the connector is arranged more rearward than the center of the front fastening member and more frontward than the center of the back fastening member. 28. The vehicle seat as claimed in claim 1, wherein the load sensor is provided so that its shaft center is at a front part of the seat cushion frame. 29. The method as claimed in claim 25, wherein the load sensor is attached so that its shaft center is at a front part of the seat cushion frame.
