The system provides more cost-effective and time-sensitive routing by incorporating other information about destinations. Further, the navigation system provides enhanced guidance in foreign or unfamiliar locations by incorporating experience from other drivers and other data.

The method of claim 1, wherein the statistics are communicated to a mobile communication device. 3. The method of claim 2, wherein the mobile communication device is associated with a passenger in the conveyance. 4. The method of claim 3, wherein the statistics are stored in a memory of the vehicle control system as the route is traveled. 5. The method of claim 4, wherein the statistics include one or more of an estimated time of arrival and average speed. 6. The method of claim 5, wherein the information about the route includes information about sites or destinations that are along the route. 7. The method of claim 6, wherein the sites or destinations are selected for presentation to the passenger based on information stored in a user profile associated with the passenger. 8. The method of claim 7, wherein the passenger searches for destinations along the route. 9. The method of claim 8, wherein the statistics stored in the memory are updated periodically. 10. The method of claim 9, wherein the statistics are provided to two or more occupants within the conveyance. 11. A conveyance comprising: a processor operable to execute one or more modules, the modules comprising: a route suggestion module operable to provide a route for travel;a travel interaction module operable to, while traveling the route, determine, based at least partially on information received from one or more sensors of the conveyance, that a driver of the conveyance is traveling the route provided, and determine, while the driver is traveling the route and based at least partially on traveling information received from the one or more sensors of the conveyance, statistics about the travel of the route; anda communication module operable to communicate the statistics to a communication device associated with a user, wherein the statistics are configured to provide the user with information about the route and the travel of the route. 12. The conveyance of claim 11, wherein the statistics are communicated to a mobile communication device, and wherein the mobile communication device is associated with a passenger in the conveyance. 13. The conveyance of claim 12, wherein the statistics are stored in a memory of the vehicle control system as the route is traveled, wherein the statistics include one or more of an estimated time of arrival and average speed, and wherein the information about the route includes information about sites or destinations that are along the route. 14. The conveyance of claim 13, wherein the sites or destinations are selected for presentation to the passenger based on information stored in a user profile associated with the passenger, and wherein the passenger searches for destinations along the route. 15. The conveyance of claim 12, wherein the statistics are updated periodically. 16. A non-transitory computer readable medium stored on a storage medium and having instructions that when executed by a processor cause the processor to perform a method, the instructions comprising: instructions to provide a route for travel;instructions to determine, based at least partially on information received from one or more sensors of the conveyance, that a driver of the conveyance is traveling the route provided;instructions to, determine, while the driver is traveling the route and based at least partially on traveling information received from the one or more sensors of the conveyance, statistics about the travel of the route; andinstructions to communicate the statistics to a communication device associated with a user, wherein the statistics are configured to provide the user with information about the route and the travel of the route. 17. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 16, wherein the statistics are communicated to a mobile communication device, and wherein the mobile communication device is associated with a passenger in the conveyance. 18. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 17, wherein the statistics are stored in a memory of the vehicle control system as the route is traveled, wherein the statistics include one or more of an estimated time of arrival and average speed, and wherein the information about the route includes information about sites or destinations that are along the route. 19. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 18, wherein the sites or destinations are selected for presentation to the passenger based on information stored in a user profile associated with the passenger, and wherein the passenger searches for destinations along the route. 20. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 17, wherein the statistics are updated periodically.
