A method of assembling a core stiffened structure that includes bonding a composite core to a substructure by utilizing magnetic force to create pressure between a flat surface of the composite core the substructure, and bonding a face sheet onto a surface network of the composite core.

The method according to claim 1, wherein the partial mandrels have the geometry of half a hexagonal shape. 4. The method according to claim 1, wherein each supplemental partial mandrel is wrapped with a material that will not bond with the composite material wrapped around the partial mandrels. 5. The method according to claim 1, wherein the full size mandrels are hexagonal shaped. 6. The method according to claim 1, wherein the composite material is a carbon fiber and resin. 7. The method according to claim 1, wherein the composite material is a fiberglass and resin.
