A device as claimed in claim 10, wherein a mid-plane extends through said third portion of said member; and said main portion of said supporting body defines a seat engaged by one end of said third portion of said member. 12. A device as claimed in claim 10, wherein said first and said second bars extend in a second direction, are connected by a first bridge made of electrically conductive material, and are both located on a first side of a mid-plane. 13. A device as claimed in claim 12, comprising a further first and a further second bar, which are both located on a second side, opposite said first side, of said mid-plane, and are connected by a further first bridge. 14. A device as claimed in claim 13, wherein said first bar located on one of said first side and said second side of said mid-plane is connected electrically by a second bridge to said second bar located on the other of said first side and said second side of the mid-plane. 15. A device as claimed in claim 9, wherein at least one of said first bar and said second bar defines at least one dovetail-shaped seat engaged by said member and for preventing detachment of the member from said at least one of said first bar and said second bar. 16. A device as claimed in claim 1, wherein said supporting body comprises a lateral wall defining a recess located at a side of a mid-plane and shaped to at least partly house an opening device on said packaging material. 17. A device as claimed in claim 1, wherein said member is made of polyphenylene sulphide. 18. A device as claimed in claim 17, wherein said polyphenylene sulphide contains a glass fibre filler and no magnetic flux-concentrating material. 19. A packaging unit for producing sealed packages of a pourable food product from a tube of packaging material fed in a first direction and filled continuously with said food product, said unit comprising at least two pairs of jaws which act cyclically and successively on said tube to grip the tube at equally spaced cross sections; and an induction sealing device fitted to each pair of said jaws to heat seal the packaging material at said cross sections; wherein said sealing device is the sealing device as claimed in claim 1. 20. A device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the member made of plastic material contacts the supporting body and the insert. 21. An induction sealing device for heat sealing a multilayer packaging material of sealed packages of pourable food products fed in a first direction, the multilayer packaging material including an electrically conductive layer and a plastic material layer, the induction sealing device comprising: a supporting body surrounding a cavity and formed of a heat-conducting material, the supporting body including a main portion positioned adjacent the cavity and fins protruding from the main portion, the fins bounding the cavity;an inductor positioned in the cavity and configured to be powered by a current generator, the inductor possessing at least one active surface which induces an electric current in the electrically conductive layer of the packaging material, when the inductor is powered by the current generator, to heat the electrically conductive layer of the packaging material and thereby melt the plastic material layer;an insert positioned in the cavity and formed of a magnetic flux-concentrating material; anda plastic member positioned in the cavity between the supporting body and the insert so that the supporting body, the plastic member and the insert are arranged sequentially in the first direction, the plastic member being formed of a material different from the magnetic flux-concentrating material of the insert. 22.
