The vehicle seat system of claim 1, further comprising a biasing member coupled to the floor bracket and the adjustable upper bracket, the biasing member configured to bias the seat back bracket to the upright position. 10. The vehicle seat system of claim 9, further comprising a disc recliner coupled to the linkage assembly and configured to inhibit motion of the adjustable upper bracket in a locked condition and permit motion of the adjustable upper bracket in a released condition. 11. The vehicle seat system of claim 11, wherein the torque tube provides a positive stop mechanism for the adjustable upper bracket in the upright position and the reclined position. 13.
