Dealers' inventories are small and non complex and dealers' workers need not be skilled transport refrigeration mechanics. Dealer trucks have light cranes to remove and replace complete self-contained refrigeration units on site.

A transport refrigeration system comprising a refrigeration unit having: a frame for mounting in an opening in an enclosure of a conditioned space;removable connectors selectively connecting and disconnecting the frame from the enclosure of the conditioned space;a fixing joint module rigidly connected to the frame;an evaporator module connected to the fixing joint module and having an evaporator extending inside the conditioned space;a compressor module interconnected to the fixing joint module for mounting outside the conditioned space;a condenser module interconnected to the compressor module for mounting outside of the enclosure; andrefrigerant connections connecting the evaporator module with the fixing joint module, connecting the compressor module with the fixing joint module, connecting the compressor module with the condenser module and communicating refrigerant between the compressor module, the condenser module and the evaporator module, wherein the refrigerant connections comprise elongated U-shaped tubes hermetically sealed and fixed at first and second ends to blocks in at least two modules selected from the fixing joint module, the evaporator module, the compressor module, or the condenser module, each elongated U-shaped tube having a first portion extending from the first end across one of the at least two modules and through a first bearing sleeve and having a middle portion extending between the at least two modules to a second bearing sleeve on another of the at least two modules, and having a second portion extending through the second bearing sleeve and extending across the another of the at least two modules to the second fixed end, wherein portions of the tubes extending across the at least two modules are twistable between fixed ends and the bearing sleeves and the middle portion so that the middle portions of the U-shaped tubes do not twist or bend between the at least two modules, wherein the bearing sleeves and the fixed ends are mounted on different axes and the ends of the tubes are fixed in opposite directions. 2. The system of claim 1, further comprising side fixing plates connected to the evaporator module, to the compressor module, to the condenser module and to the fixing joint module. 3. The system of claim 1, further comprising an adaptable compressor hermetic chamber fitted over the compressor module. 4. The system of claim 1, further comprising a compressor in the compressor module and a permanent magnetic coupling connected to the compressor for joining selectable drivers to the permanent magnetic coupling to drive the compressor. 5. The system of claim 1, wherein the compressor module is liftable and rotatable with respect to the condenser and evaporator modules while the compressor, condenser and evaporator modules are operating and functional. 6. The system of claim 1, further comprising elongated sleeves enclosing the elongated U-shaped tubes for preventing buckling of the elongated U-shaped tubes during removal of any module. 7. A transport refrigeration system comprising a refrigeration unit having: a frame for mounting in an opening in an enclosure of a conditioned space;removable connectors selectively connecting and disconnecting the frame from the enclosure of the conditioned space;plural modules removably coupled to the frame comprising:a fixing joint module rigidly connected to the frame,an evaporator module connected to the fixing joint module and having an evaporator extending inside the conditioned space,a compressor module interconnected to the fixing joint module for mounting outside the conditioned space,a condenser module interconnected to the compressor module for mounting outside of the enclosure;each of the plural modules comprising a first block, a first bearing sleeve connected to the first block, a second block and a second bearing sleeve connected to the second block,plural refrigerant connections connecting the plural modules and communicating refrigerant between the plural modules;each of the plural refrigerant connections comprising:an elongated U-shaped tube hermetically sealed and comprising a first end, a second end and a U-shaped middle portion,a first portion extending between the first end and the middle portion and a second portion extending between the middle portion and the second end,the first end and the second end of at least one of a pair of the U-shaped tubes having twistable connections with the first block in the first bearing sleeve and the middle portion fixedly connected to the second block,the first end and the second end of another of the pair of the U-shaped tubes having twistable connections with the second block in the second bearing sleeve and the middle portion having a fixed connection with the first block, andthe first portion and the second portion extending across each module being twistable and the middle portion not being twistable or bendable between the plural module, wherein the bearing sleeves and the fixed ends are mounted on different axes and the ends of the tubes are fixed in opposite directions. 8. The system of claim 7, wherein each of the plural modules comprise twistably removable connections for twistably removing each module from the frame. 9.
