The drink preparation machine according to claim 1, wherein at least one opening is provided in the outer housing, wherein the at least one ventilation element and the at least one opening are arranged in such a manner that a thermal convection of external air through the interior is produced when the ventilation element is open. 4. The drink preparation machine according to claim 3, wherein the at least one opening is arranged in a lower region of the outer housing. 5. The drink preparation machine according to claim 3, wherein the at least one opening has a flow cross section that is configured to be changeable by an adjustable closure element configured to close the at least one opening, and wherein a change of the flow cross section is controlled by controlling a size of the flow cross section. 6. The drink preparation machine according to claim 1 further comprising a ventilator arranged in the interior, wherein the ventilator is configured to generate an air flow which contributes to ventilation of the interior, wherein the ventilator is configured to be actuatable by means of a control program which is configured to be executable in a control unit of the drink preparation machine as a function of at least one of: an operating state of the drink preparation machine, a time function, a threshold function, or a function of signals of at least one sensor. 11. The drink preparation machine according to claim 10, wherein the sensor is a temperature sensor and/or a moisture sensor. 12. The drink preparation machine according to claim 1, wherein the actuation member is configured to open the at least one ventilation element when the temperature in the interior exceeds a first temperature threshold. 13. The drink preparation machine according to claim 12, wherein the actuation member is configured to close the at least one ventilation element when the temperature in the interior falls below a second temperature threshold being lower than the first temperature threshold. 14. A method for ventilating an interior of a drink preparation machine, wherein the interior is enclosed by an outer housing, wherein the outer housing comprises at least one ventilation element being configured to be actuatable to open and close variably, wherein the drink preparation machine includes a moisture sensor arranged in the interior for measuring a moisture of the interior, wherein the at least one ventilation element is arranged in an upper closure lid of the outer housing, and wherein the at least one ventilation element defines a ventilation opening and a plurality of pivotable flaps, the method comprising: operating in the interior of the drink preparation machine at least one of: a heating element for heating water, a brewing module, or a steam preparation unit for preparing steam or discharging hot water; andcausing actuation of the at least one ventilation element with an actuation member to variably adjust an opening extent of the at least one ventilation element in response to at least one of: a temperature in the interior reaching a temperature threshold, moisture in the interior reaching a moisture threshold, or the expiry of a predefined time span.
