Methods and deployment devices are also disclosed. A method of facilitating treatment of an intervertebral disc in a spine comprising: introducing a distal end of an implant delivery device beyond at least a first outer layer of an anulus of an intervertebral disc, the distal end configured to deliver an implant within the intervertebral disc;delivering an implant in the intervertebral disc using the implant delivery device,wherein the implant is configured to be held along an innermost layer of the anulus in a nuclear space of the intervertebral disc;inserting at least one fixation device into a vertebral body surrounding the intervertebral disc;connecting the at least one fixation device to the implant; andremoving the implant delivery device. 2. The method of claim 1, wherein the at least one fixation device comprises a suture. 3. The method of claim 2, wherein the suture is resorbable. 4. The method of claim 1, wherein the at least one fixation device comprises a woven or web-like material. 5. The method of claim 1, wherein the at least one fixation device comprises a connection member that is knotted. 6. The method of claim 1, wherein the at least one fixation device comprises a resorbable material. 7. The method of claim 1, wherein the at least one fixation device comprises at least one connection member and at least one anchor portion. 8. The method of claim 7, wherein the at least one connection member comprises a suture or wire. 9. The method of claim 7, wherein the at least one anchor portion comprises at least one barb. 10. The method of claim 1, wherein the implant is cap-shaped, bar-shaped, plate-shaped, or bead-shaped. 11. The method of claim 1, wherein the at least one fixation device is affixed to said vertebral body with a cement or surgical adhesive. 12. The method of claim 1, wherein the at least one fixation device comprises a screw anchor, and wherein said anchor is screwed into the vertebral body. 13. The method of claim 1, wherein the implant delivery device carries said implant. 14. The method of claim 1, wherein the implant delivery device comprises a handheld grasping tool. 15. The method of claim 1, wherein the implant delivery device comprises a delivery tube. 16. A method of facilitating treatment of an intervertebral disc in a spine comprising: providing an implant delivery system comprising an implant delivery device, at least one fixation device, and an implant, the implant delivery system configured for: (i) introducing a distal end of the implant delivery device beyond at least a first outer layer of an anulus of an intervertebral disc, the distal end configured to deliver the implant within the intervertebral disc;(ii) delivering the implant in the intervertebral disc using the implant delivery device,wherein the implant is configured to be held along an innermost layer of the anulus in the space occupied by the nucleus; and(iii) inserting the at least one fixation device into a vertebral body surrounding the intervertebral disc. 17. The method of claim 16, wherein the implant delivery system is further configured for connecting the at least one fixation device to the implant during delivery. 18. The method of claim 16, wherein the at least one fixation device comprises at least one anchor portion and at least one connection member. 19. The method of claim 16, wherein the implant delivery device carries said implant. 20. The method of claim 16, wherein the implant delivery device is a handheld grasping tool or a delivery tube.
