The cleansing article of claim 1, wherein the first and second substrates comprise a formed film. 8. The cleansing article of claim 7, wherein the first and second substrates are water penetrable. 9. The cleansing article of claim 1, wherein the first water insoluble substrate comprises a laminate. 10. The cleansing article of claim 9, wherein the laminate comprises a nonwoven and a formed film. 11. The cleansing article of claim 1, wherein the first water insoluble substrate, second water insoluble substrate, or a combination thereof, are a contact substrate. 12. The cleansing article of claim 11, wherein the contact substrate is adapted for contacting the skin. 13. The cleansing article of claim 1, wherein the cleansing composition comprises particles. 14. The cleansing article of claim 1, wherein the cleansing composition comprises a preservative. 15. The cleansing article of claim 1, wherein the cleansing composition is in the form of pellets, bar, paste, gel, or a combination thereof. 16. The cleansing article of claim 1, wherein the article is compliant. 17. The cleansing article of claim 16, wherein the article has a compliance of about 0.03 kg/mm to about 1.50 kg/mm. 18. The cleansing article of claim 16, wherein the article has a compliance of about 0.05 kg/mm to about 1.15 kg/mm. 19. The cleansing article of claim 16, wherein the article has a compliance of about 0.10 kg/mm to about 1.1 kg/mm. 20.
