Described are devices and containers that are scalable, modular, and lockable laterally and vertically with other like containers for a variety of applications. A container is formed by a wall attached at first end to a top end section with an opening and attached at a second end by a bottom end section. A container may have one or more of a tongue, formed on the wall, having and interconnecting mechanism to be received and interlocked by a groove. Vertical interconnectivity is accomplished with mechanisms to stack containers and prevent swivel using a ridge and channel interlocking arrangement.

1. An apparatus, comprising: a wall comprising a plurality of sides attached at a first end to a top end section and attached at a second end to a bottom end section;an opening formed by a neck in said top end section providing access to an internal area, thereby forming a container;an indented receptor space formed on the bottom end section, the indented receptor space being centered around a longitudinal axis of the container and inset from edges of the bottom end section and configured to receive a neck on a separate apparatus;at least one interconnecting tongue, formed on a first side of the plurality of sides of the wall, extending a partial vertical length of the wall, having undercuts, the tongue extending no lower below a height of the indented receptor space than 25% of the height of such indented receptor space; andat least one groove, formed vertically on a second side of the plurality of sides of the wall, shaped in a reverse image of the tongue, wherein the groove comprises undercuts configured for the groove and is formed to receive a second tongue on the separate apparatus, the separate apparatus thereby becoming interlocked with the apparatus. 2. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein a plurality of said tongues are formed on the plurality the sides of said wall. 3. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the tongue further comprises a fade-out that is tapered towards the bottom end section. 4. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein said bottom end section is formed to receive a top end section on the separate apparatus. 5. The apparatus of claim 1, further comprising at least one ridge formed on the top end section and located between the wall and the neck, and at least one channel arranged on the bottom end section and located between the wall and the indented receptor space and formed such that the channel could receive said ridge on a separate apparatus. 6. A modular interlocking container, comprising: a wall comprising a plurality of sides attached at a first end to a top end section and attached at a second end to a bottom end section;an opening formed by a neck in said top end section providing access to an internal area, thereby forming a container;an indented receptor space formed on the bottom end section, the indented receptor space being centered around a longitudinal axis of the container and inset from edges of the bottom end section and configured to receive a second neck on a separate container;at least one interconnecting tongue, formed on a first side of the plurality of sides of the wall, extending a partial vertical length of the wall, having undercuts, the tongue extending no lower below a height of the indented receptor space than 25% of the height of such indented receptor space; andat least one recessed groove, formed vertically along a second side of the plurality of sides of the wall, shaped in a reverse image of the tongue, with undercuts configured for the groove and formed by groove overhangs configured on each vertical side of the groove from the bottom end section of the container to a point where the groove meets the top end section of the container, the groove being further configured without groove overhangs and undercuts at a portion of the groove that extends within the top end section of the container, wherein the groove is shaped to receive, in an interlocking manner, a tongue with undercuts formed on the separate container. 7. The modular interlocking container of claim 6, further comprising: a ridge formed on the top end section surface and located between the wall and the neck; anda channel formed within the bottom end surface and located between the wall and the indented receptor space, wherein the channel within the bottom end section is shaped to receive a ridge formed on the separate container. 8. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein, where the tongue intersects a shoulder turn line, the tongue width narrows and fades to a tapered end. 9. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the groove further comprises a stop located within the groove that prevents the tongue from the separate apparatus sliding completely through the groove. 10. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the top end section is comprised of planar shoulder sections rising at a slope beginning at the wall and moving upward until the top end planar shoulder sections meet the neck at the apex of the slope, and wherein the bottom end section is comprised of planar shelf sections rising at a slope beginning at the wall and moving upward until the planar shelf sections meet the indented receptor space at the apex of the slope. 11. The apparatus of claim 10, further comprising: at least one ridge protruding along the intersection of two top end planar shoulder sections, andwherein the bottom end planar shelf sections further comprise at least one channel indented along the intersection of two planar shelf sections such that the channel can receive a ridge from the separate apparatus. 12. The apparatus of claim 1, further comprising at least one channel formed on the top end section and located between the wall and the neck; and at least one ridge arranged on the bottom end section and located between the wall and the indented receptor space and formed such that the ridge could receive a channel on the separate apparatus. 13. The apparatus of claim 10, further comprising: at least one ridge protruding along the intersection of two bottom end planar shelf sections, andwherein the top end planar shoulder sections further comprise at least one channel indented along the intersection of two planar shoulder sections such that the ridge can receive the channel from the separate apparatus. 14. The modular interlocking container of claim 6, wherein the groove further comprises a stop located within the groove that prevents the tongue from the separate container sliding completely through the groove. 15. The modular interlocking container of claim 6, wherein the top end section is comprised of planar shoulder sections rising at a slope beginning at the wall and moving upward until the top end planar shoulder sections meet the neck at the apex of the slope, and wherein the bottom end section is comprised of planar shelf sections rising at a slope beginning at the wall and moving upward until the planar shelf sections meet the indented receptor space at the apex of the slope. 16. The modular interlocking container of claim 15, further comprising: at least one ridge protruding along the intersection of two top end planar shoulder sections, andwherein the bottom end planar shelf sections further comprise at least one channel indented along the intersection of two planar shelf sections such that the channel can receive a ridge from the separate container. 17. The modular interlocking container of claim 6, wherein the bottom end section is formed to receive a top end section on the separate container. 18. The apparatus of claim 6, further comprising at least one channel formed on the top end section and located between the wall and the neck; and at least one ridge arranged on the bottom end section and located between the wall and the indented receptor space and formed such that the ridge could receive said channel on the separate container.
