1. A link assembly for an endless track, comprising: a plurality of pairs of inner track links, each pair of inner track links including two track links connected to one another in laterally spaced relationship;a plurality of pairs of outer track links, each pair of outer track links including two track links connected to one another in laterally spaced relationship, wherein each pair of outer track links is pivotally connected to two of said pairs of inner track links with the links of each pair of outer track links disposed laterally outward of the links of each pair of inner track links; andwherein outer side surfaces of said plurality of pairs of outer track links form first and second discontinuous outer roller guide surfaces of the link assembly. 2. The link assembly of claim 1, wherein outer side surfaces of the two track links in each pair of inner track links are substantially straight. 3. The link assembly of claim 2, wherein outer side surfaces of the two track links in each pair of outer track links are substantially straight. 4. The link assembly of claim 1, wherein outer side surfaces of the two track links in each pair of outer track links are substantially straight. 5. The link assembly of claim 1, wherein inner side surfaces of said plurality of pairs of inner track links form first and second discontinuous inner roller guide surfaces of the link assembly. 6. The link assembly of claim 5, wherein inner side surfaces of the two track links in each pair of outer track links are substantially straight. 7. The link assembly of claim 6, wherein inner side surfaces of the two track links in each pair of inner track links are substantially straight. 8. The link assembly of claim 5, wherein inner side surfaces of the two track links in each pair of inner track links are substantially straight. 9. A link assembly for an endless track, comprising: a plurality of pairs of inner track links, each pair of inner track links including two track links connected to one another in laterally spaced relationship;a plurality of pairs of outer track links, each pair of outer track links including two track links connected to one another in laterally spaced relationship, wherein each pair of outer track links is pivotally connected to two of said pairs of inner track links with the links of each pair of outer track links disposed laterally outward of the links of each pair of inner track links; andwherein inner side surfaces of said plurality of pairs of inner track links form first and second discontinuous inner roller guide surfaces of the link assembly. 10. The link assembly of claim 9, wherein inner side surfaces of the two track links in each pair of outer track links are substantially straight. 11. The link assembly of claim 10, wherein inner side surfaces of the two track links in each pair of inner track links are substantially straight. 12. The link assembly of claim 9, wherein inner side surfaces of the two track links in each pair of outer track links are substantially straight. 13. An undercarriage assembly, comprising: a link assembly having a plurality of laterally spaced pairs of track links pivotally connected to one another at pivot joints;a first track shoe having a first mounting hole and a second mounting hole, the first and second mounting holes being laterally spaced a first distance from one another;a second track shoe having a third mounting hole and a fourth mounting hole, the third and fourth mounting holes being laterally spaced a second distance from one another;a first fastener extending through the first mounting hole to secure the first track shoe to the link assembly;a second fastener extending through the second mounting hole to secure the first track shoe to the link assembly;a third fastener extending through the third mounting hole to secure the second track shoe to the link assembly; anda fourth fastener extending through the fourth mounting hole to secure the second track shoe to the link assembly, whereinthe plurality of laterally spaced pairs of track links includesa first laterally spaced pair of track links, anda second laterally spaced pair of track links pivotally connected to the first laterally spaced pair of track links, wherein the second laterally spaced pair of track links are disposed laterally outward of the first laterally spaced pair of track links;the first track shoe is secured to the first laterally spaced pair of track links; andthe second track shoe is secured to the second laterally spaced pair of track links. 14. The assembly of claim 13, wherein: the first laterally spaced pair of track links includesa first track link, the first track link having a fifth mounting hole with a threaded portion, anda second track link, the second track link having a sixth mounting hole with a threaded portion;the second laterally spaced pair of track links includesa third track link, the third track link having a seventh mounting hole with a threaded portion, anda fourth track link, the fourth track link having an eighth mounting hole with a threaded portion;the first fastener extends into and engages the threaded portion of the fifth mounting hole;the second fastener extends into and engages the threaded portion of the sixth mounting hole;the third fastener extends into and engages the threaded portion of the seventh mounting hole; andthe fourth fastener extends into and engages the threaded portion of the eighth mounting hole. 15. The assembly of claim 14, wherein: the fifth mounting hole includes an unthreaded counterbore between the threaded portion and the first track shoe;the sixth mounting hole includes an unthreaded counterbore between the threaded portion and the first track shoe;the seventh mounting hole includes an unthreaded counterbore between the threaded portion and the second track shoe; andthe eighth mounting hole includes an unthreaded counterbore between the threaded portion and the second track shoe.
