1. A computer-implemented method for processing electronic mail services over a network using an electronic account, the method comprising: providing a user interface over the network to establish the electronic account;receiving from a user by way of the user interface an identification of a physical address and an electronic address;linking the electronic account to the physical address of the user using a delivery point identification key;linking the electronic account to the electronic address of the user;receiving a request from a service to access the electronic account over the network;receiving a request from the user to access the service over the network via the electronic account, the request including an identification of a preferred service delivery option;providing the service access to the electronic account;receiving from the user by way of the user interface an identification of a temporary address different from the physical address and the electronic address, the temporary address being an address at which the user is to be provided the service for a period of time defined by the user;linking the electronic account to the temporary address of the user; andlimiting access to the electronic account from access to the physical address and electronic address to access to the temporary address until the user-defined period of time elapses. 2. The computer-implemented method of claim 1, further comprising presenting an identifier of the service to the user. 3. The computer-implemented method of claim 2, wherein the preferred service delivery option is delivery to the physical address. 4. A system for processing electronic mail services over a network using an electronic account, comprising: memory;a processor that executes instructions stored in the memory, wherein execution of the instructions: provides a user interface over the network to establish the electronic account, links the electronic account to a physical address of a user of the user account, the physical linking component including a delivery point identification key, links the electronic account to an electronic address of the user, links the electronic account to a temporary address different from the physical address and the electronic address, the temporary address being an address at which the user is to be provided a service for a period of time defined by the user, andlimiting access to the electronic account from access to the physical address and electronic address to access to the temporary address until the user-defined period of time elapses; anda network interface that communicates with the service and the user, wherein communicating with the service and the user includes: receiving a request from the service to access the electronic account over the network, receiving a request from the user to access the service over the network via the electronic account, the request including a preferred service delivery option. 5. The system of claim 4, wherein further execution of the instructions by the processor presents an identifier of the service to the user. 6. The system of claim 4, wherein the preferred service delivery option is delivery to the physical address. 7. The system of claim 4, wherein the preferred service delivery option is delivery to the electronic address. 8. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having computer readable code embodied therein that, when executed by a processor performs a method for processing electronic mail services over a network using an electronic account, the method comprising: providing a user interface over the network to establish the electronic account;linking the electronic account to a physical address of a user of the user account using a delivery point identification key;linking the electronic account to an electronic address of the user;receiving a request from a service to access the electronic account over the network;receiving a request from the user to access the service over the network via the electronic account, the request including a preferred service delivery option;providing the service access to the electronic account;linking the electronic account to a temporary address of the user, wherein the temporary address is different from the physical address and the electronic address and is an address at which the user is to be provided the service for a period of time defined by the user; andlimiting access to the electronic account from access to the physical address and electronic address to access to the temporary address until the user-defined period of time elapses. 9. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 8, wherein the method further comprises presenting an identifier of the service to the user. 10. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 8, wherein the preferred service delivery option is delivery to the physical address. 11. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 8, wherein the preferred service delivery option is delivery to the electronic address. 12. The computer-implemented method of claim 1, wherein the preferred service delivery option is delivery to the electronic address. 13. The computer-implemented method of claim 1, further comprising providing the service to the user via the preferred service delivery option when the electronic account is not linked to the temporary account. 14. The computer-implemented method of claim 1, further comprising providing the service to at the temporary address when the electronic account is linked to the temporary account. 15. The computer-implemented method of claim 1, wherein the temporary address is an alternative physical address linked to the electronic account by way of the delivery point identification key. 16. The system of claim 4, wherein further execution of the instructions by the processor provides the service to the user via the preferred service delivery option when the electronic account is not linked to the temporary account. 17. The system of claim 4, wherein further execution of the instructions by the processor provides the service to at the temporary address when the electronic account is linked to the temporary account. 18. The system of claim 4, wherein the temporary address is an alternative physical address linked to the electronic account by way of the delivery point identification key. 19. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 8, wherein the method further comprises providing the service to the user via the preferred service delivery option when the electronic account is not linked to the temporary account. 20. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 8, wherein the method further comprises providing the service to at the temporary address when the electronic account is linked to the temporary account. 21. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 8, wherein the temporary address is an alternative physical address linked to the electronic account by way of the delivery point identification key.
