The method of claim 5 wherein the quantity of roasted ground coffee in the extraction chamber is 9 g to 13 g. 7. The method of claim 1 wherein the fill ratio of the extraction chamber is greater than 80%. 8. The method of claim 1 wherein the soluble solids in the beverage is greater than 4%. 9. The method of claim 1 wherein the pressure in the extraction chamber during extraction is 4 to 20 bar. 10. The method of claim 1 wherein the roasted ground coffee has a dry Helos particle size distribution D50 of less than or equal to 100 microns. 11. The method of claim 1 wherein the aqueous medium has a temperature of 15° C. to 25° C. 12. The method of claim 1 wherein the aqueous medium has a temperature of 20° C. to 25° C. 13. The method of claim 1 wherein the flow rate of the aqueous medium through the extraction chamber is approximately 2 ml/s. 14. The method of claim 1 wherein the quantity of roasted ground coffee in the extraction chamber is 10 g to 13 g. 15. The method of claim 1 wherein the fill ratio of the extraction chamber is greater than 100%. 16. The method of claim 1 wherein the fill ratio of the extraction chamber is 80% to 150%.
