The luggage of claim 1 wherein said locking mechanism comprises protrusions protruding outward of said upper trolley body, each protrusion corresponding to a different height of said trolley unit, wherein at least one of said guided rollers within said upper trolley body comprises a spring-loaded pin for engagement in a protrusion said protrusions, thereby locking said trolley unit into place at a height corresponding to the protrusion into which the spring-loaded pin is engaged, and wherein said release mechanism comprises a release lever in said luggage unit that, when lifted, disengages said spring-loaded pin from the protrusion in which it is engaged, thereby unlocking said trolley unit. 3. The luggage of claim 2 wherein said release mechanism comprises a shaft, outside of said upper trolley body, with capped pins that are bound within said protrusions and that move further into said protrusions, to disengage the spring-loaded pin from the protrusion into which it is engaged, when said shaft is pushed towards said upper trolley body. 4. The luggage of claim 3 wherein said release mechanism comprises: a first rod inside said luggage unit that moves downward when said release lever is lifted; anda second rod that extends outside of said luggage unit through the slit in said piece of luggage, and that pushes said shaft towards said upper trolley body when said first rod moves downward. 5. The luggage of claim 4 wherein said release mechanism comprises a spring-loaded slideable block with an inclined plane, wherein said first rod presses on said inclined plane when said first rod moves downward, causing said block to slide in a first direction, wherein said second rod is connected to said block, and wherein the spring load causes said block to slide in an opposite direction from the first direction when said first rod ceases to press on said inclined plane. 6. The luggage of claim 5 wherein said second rod slides in the first direction and in the opposite direction via the slit in said piece of luggage, and wherein the slit is sealed from within said piece of luggage by said block. 7. The luggage of claim 1 wherein said locking mechanism comprises protrusions protruding outward of said upper trolley body, each protrusion corresponding to a different height of said trolley unit, wherein at least one of said guided rollers within said upper trolley body comprises a spring-loaded pin for engagement in said protrusions, thereby locking said trolley unit into place at a height corresponding to the protrusion into which the spring-loaded pin is engaged, and wherein said release mechanism comprises a bar in said handle that, when pushed downward, disengages said spring-loaded pin from the protrusion in which it is engaged, thereby unlocking said trolley unit. 8. The luggage of claim 7 wherein said release mechanism comprises a shaft, outside of said upper trolley body, with capped pins that are bound within said protrusions and that move further into said protrusions, to disengage the spring-loaded pin from the protrusion into which it is engaged, when said shaft is pushed towards said upper trolley body. 9. The luggage of claim 8 wherein said release mechanism comprises a rod that extends outside of said luggage unit through the slit in said piece of luggage, and that pushes said shaft towards said upper trolley body when said handle bar moves downward. 10. The luggage of claim 9 wherein said release mechanism comprises a spring-loaded slideable block with an inclined plane, wherein said handle bar presses on said inclined plane when said handle bar moves downward, causing said block to slide in a first direction, wherein said rod is connected to said block, and wherein the spring load causes said block to slide in an opposite direction from the first direction when said handle bar ceases to press on said inclined plane. 11. The luggage of claim 10 wherein said rod slides in the first direction and in the opposite direction via the slit in said piece of luggage, and wherein the slit is sealed from within said luggage unit by said block. 12. The luggage of claim 1 wherein said trolley unit further comprises a latch for securing said upper and lower trolley bodies together when said trolley unit is in the stowed position. 13.
