The aircraft nacelle of claim 3, wherein the compression tube comprises a threaded bore. 7. The aircraft nacelle of claim 6, wherein the proximal end comprises a threaded shaft located within the threaded bore. 8. The aircraft nacelle of claim 1 further comprising a pylon bracket, wherein the compression rod extends through the pylon bracket. 9. The aircraft nacelle of claim 1, wherein the first engagement feature comprises a first cone coupled to a first half of a core cowl, and wherein the second engagement feature comprises a second cone coupled to a second half of the core cowl.
