The pallet skirt of claim 1, further including edge sections extending from said first edges of said first and second side-panel sections, with each of said edge sections separated from its respective side-panel section via an edge section fold line, wherein said edge sections are moveable between an extended configuration and a folded-over configuration,wherein said edge sections extend away from respective side panel sections when they are in the extended configuration,wherein said edge sections are folded over respective side panel sections when they are in the folded-over configuration, andwherein said edge sections are configured to secure said first portion of said first end flap to said second portion of said first end flap by securing said first and second portions of said first end flap between one of said edge sections and one of said first and second side panel sections. 4. The pallet skirt of claim 3, wherein said second end flap includes a secondary fold line that is aligned with said longitudinal centerline of the pallet skirt such that said second end flap defines first and second portions extending from respective second ends of said first and second side panel sections, wherein moving the pallet skirt from the knockdown configuration to the intermediate configuration causes said second end flap to be folded about said secondary fold line of said second end flap, thereby causing said first portion of said second end flap to be folded against said second portion of said second end flap,wherein the pallet skirt is prevented from moving from the intermediate configuration to the knockdown configuration when said first portion of said second end flap is secured to said second portion of said second end flap, andwherein said edge sections are configured to secure said first portion of said second end flap to said second portion of said second end flap by securing said first and second portions of said second end flap between one of said edge sections and one of said first and second side panel sections. 5. The pallet skirt of claim 1, wherein at least one of said first or second side-panel section further include at least two cutouts for receiving forks of a forklift. 6. The pallet skirt of claim 1, wherein said first and second side-panel sections each include an additional fold line extending laterally across said side-panel section and parallel with said side portion fold line. 7. The pallet skirt of claim 1, wherein upon said side-panel sections being folded together, said side-panel sections are operable to be separated away from each other and folded about said side portion fold lines such that said pallet skirt forms a rectangular perimeter including four sides. 8. The pallet skirt of claim 7, wherein said perimeter is sized such that the pallet skirt is operable to fit over a wooden pallet. 9. The pallet skirt of claim 8, wherein at least one of said first or second side-panel section further include at least two cutouts for receiving forks of a forklift, and further wherein said cutouts are aligned with openings in said wooden pallet, such that the forklift can simultaneously lift the wooden pallet and said pallet skirt.
