A wireless mobile column lift system comprising: at least two portable lifts, wherein each of said lifts includes— a base for supporting said lift on a floor or the ground,a post rigidly coupled to said base and extending upwardly therefrom,a carriage assembly configured to engage a wheel of a vehicle, wherein said carriage assembly is coupled to said post and configured for vertical shifting relative to said post, anda lift actuator for raising and lowering said carriage assembly relative to said post, andone or more batteries configured to provide power for said lift; andan electronic control system for controlling said lift system, wherein said electronic control system includes— a wireless communication device associated with each of said lifts for sending and receiving wireless communications, anda remote user interface for wirelessly communicating with each of said lifts, wherein said remote user interface is configured to permit a user to control said lifts remotely from said lifts,wherein said remote user interface is configured to receive wireless signals from each lift, with such received wireless signals including height information for each lift, and wherein said remote user interface is configured to send wireless signals to each lift, with such sent wireless signals configured to coordinate movement of the lifts,wherein said remote user interface includes a display screen and an emergency stop control switch, wherein upon activation of said emergency stop control switch, said remote user interface is configured to send a wireless signal to each lift instructing each lift to halt operation. 2. The wireless mobile column lift system of claim 1, wherein said remote user interface comprises a lift control processor for coordinating operation of said lifts based on the height information received from each of the lifts via the received wireless signals. 3. The wireless mobile column lift system of claim 1, wherein said remote user interface is configured to send the height information of each the lifts to each of the other lifts via the sent wireless signals, wherein each of said lifts includes a lift control processer for coordinating operation of said lifts based on the height information received from the remote user interface. 4. The wireless mobile column lift system of claim 1, wherein said lifts are not configured to wirelessly communicate directly with each other. 5. The wireless mobile column lift system of claim 4, wherein said lifts are configured to wirelessly communicate indirectly with each other via said remote user interface. 6. The wireless mobile column lift system of claim 1, wherein said remote user interface is configured to display information about said lift system. 7. The wireless mobile column lift system of claim 6, wherein said remote user interface is configured to display information about each of said lifts in said lift system. 8. The wireless mobile column lift system of claim 6, wherein said remote user interface is configured to display a battery status. 9. The wireless mobile column lift system of claim 1, wherein said electronic control system is configured to automatically detect an existence of an unsynchronized condition. 10. The wireless mobile column lift system of claim 9, wherein said display screen is configured to provide a visual indication of said unsynchronized condition. 11. The wireless mobile column lift system of claim 6, wherein said display screen is a touch screen. 12. A wireless mobile column lift system comprising: at least two portable lifts, wherein each of said lifts includes— a base for supporting said lift on a floor or the ground,a post rigidly coupled to said base and extending upwardly therefrom,a carriage assembly configured to engage a wheel of a vehicle, wherein said carriage assembly is coupled to said post and configured for vertical shifting relative to said post, anda lift actuator for raising and lowering said carriage assembly relative to said post, andone or more batteries configured to provide power for said lift; andan electronic control system for controlling said lift system, wherein said electronic control system includes— a wireless communication device associated with each of said lifts for sending and receiving wireless communications, anda remote user interface for wirelessly communicating with each of said lifts, wherein said remote user interface is configured to permit a user to control said lifts remotely from said lifts,wherein said remote user interface is configured to receive wireless signals from each lift, with such received wireless signals including height information for each lift, wherein said remote user interface comprises a lift control processor for coordinating operation of said lifts based on the height information received via the received wireless signals, and wherein said remote user interface is configured to send wireless signals to each lift, with such sent wireless signals configured to coordinate movement of the lifts,wherein said remote user interface includes a display screen and an emergency stop control switch, wherein upon activation of said emergency stop control switch, said remote user interface is configured to send a wireless signal to each lift instructing each lift to halt operation. 13.
