The exercise machine of claim 1, wherein the first handle and the second handle are each permanently connected to the carriage. 12. The exercise machine of claim 1, wherein the first opening and the second opening are each comprised of an elongated slot. 13. The exercise machine of claim 12, wherein at least one side of the first opening and the second opening is substantially straight. 14. The exercise machine of claim 1, wherein the carriage is comprised of a substantially rectangular shaped structure. 15.
