The drive apparatus of claim 2, wherein one end of the first output shaft and one end of the second output shaft are both rotatably supported in the center section. 4. The drive apparatus of claim 1, further comprising a brake actuation shaft extending into the housing and engaged to the brake puck, wherein the brake actuation shaft moves the brake puck between the first position and the second position. 5. A drive apparatus for use on a vehicle having a prime mover, the drive apparatus comprising: a center section having hydraulic porting formed therein, the center section further comprising a first running surface having a first pair of kidney ports connected to the hydraulic porting, a second running surface having a second pair of kidney ports connected to the hydraulic porting and a third running surface having a third pair of kidney ports connected to the hydraulic porting;a hydraulic pump disposed on the first running surface and connected to the first pair of kidney ports;a first hydraulic motor disposed on the second running surface and comprising a first motor cylinder block connected to the second pair of kidney ports and driving a first output shaft; anda second hydraulic motor disposed on the third running surface and comprising a second motor cylinder block connected to the third pair of kidney ports and driving a second output shaft, wherein a first plane formed by the second running surface intersects a second plane formed by the third running surface at an acute angle. 6. The drive apparatus of claim 5, further comprising a pump input shaft engaged to and driving the hydraulic pump and having a first axis of rotation, wherein the center section is symmetrical about a third plane passing through the first axis of rotation. 7. The drive apparatus of claim 6, further comprising a brake puck moveable between a first position where it is disengaged from both the first motor cylinder block and the second motor cylinder block, and a second position where the brake puck is engaged and provides a braking force to both the first motor cylinder block and the second motor cylinder block. 8. The drive apparatus of claim 7, further comprising a brake actuation shaft engaged to the brake puck, wherein the brake actuation shaft moves the brake puck between the first position and the second position. 9. The drive apparatus of claim 8, wherein the brake actuation shaft has a second axis of rotation that is parallel to the first axis of rotation. 10. The drive apparatus of claim 5, further comprises a housing having a transmission chamber forming a sump in which the center section is disposed, a first output shaft housing mounted to a first joint surface at one end of the transmission chamber and a second output shaft housing mounted to a second joint surface at a second end of the transmission chamber, wherein the first output shaft is disposed in the first output shaft housing and the second output shaft is disposed in the second output shaft housing and the transmission chamber is segregated from the first output shaft housing and the second output shaft housing. 11. The drive apparatus of claim 10, further comprising a first bellows located at the first joint surface and a second bellows located at the second joint surface. 12. The drive apparatus of claim 5, wherein one end of the first output shaft and one end of the second output shaft are both rotatably supported in the center section. 13. The drive apparatus of claim 5, further comprising a charge pump housing is disposed on the center section on a surface opposite to the first running surface, wherein the charge pump housing forms a gallery in hydraulic communication with the hydraulic porting, and a charge pump disposed in the charge pump housing to provide charged fluid to the gallery. 14. A drive apparatus, comprising: a housing forming a sump for hydraulic fluid;a center section disposed in the sump, the center section comprising hydraulic porting formed therein, a first running surface having a first pair of kidney ports connected to the hydraulic porting, a second running surface having a second pair of kidney ports connected to the hydraulic porting, and a third running surface having a third pair of kidney ports connected to the hydraulic porting;a hydraulic pump disposed on the first running surface and connected to the first pair of kidney ports;a first hydraulic motor disposed on the second running surface and comprising a first motor cylinder block connected to the second pair of kidney ports and driving a first output shaft;a second hydraulic motor disposed on the third running surface and comprising a second motor cylinder block connected to the third pair of kidney ports and driving a second output shaft;a charge pump housing disposed on a fourth surface of the center section opposite to the first running surface, the charge pump housing forming a gallery in hydraulic communication with the sump and the hydraulic porting;an inlet passage and an outlet passage cast into the fourth surface of the center section;a charge pump disposed in the charge pump housing and in fluid communication with the inlet passage to receive hydraulic fluid from the sump and in fluid communication to provide charged hydraulic fluid to the gallery. 15. The drive apparatus of claim 14, wherein a first plane formed by the second running surface intersects a second plane formed by the third running surface at an acute angle. 16.
