The container according to claim 6, further comprising a first rim extending around said first shell, wherein the latch comprises a pivot assembly and a primary assembly, wherein the pivot assembly is rotatably coupled to both said second shell and said primary assembly, and wherein said primary assembly is adapted to engage said first rim. 12. The container according to claim 11, wherein said pivot assembly comprises a left pivot assembly and a right pivot assembly, which are coupled to first and second shell pivot mounts of the second shell. 13. The container according to claim 11, wherein said latch defines a latch recess, and wherein said latch recess receives the pivot assembly when the latch secures the first shell to the second shell in the mated position. 14. The container according to claim 11, wherein said primary assembly comprises a support leg adapted to rest against an outside surface of said second shell when the latch secures the first shell to the second shell in the mated position. 15. The container according to claim 4, wherein the utility divider comprises an intermediate channel extending from each of the major faces of the utility divider at a position between said opposite ends, said intermediate channels adapted for slidable coupling to a T-shaped engaging portion of another divider. 16. The container according to claim 1, comprising the short longitudinal divider. 17. The container according to claim 16, wherein the short longitudinal comprises an end channel extending from each of the major faces at the second end of the longitudinal divider, wherein each of said end channels is adapted for slidable coupling to a T-shaped engaging portion of one of said plurality of reversible dividers. 18. The containing according to claim 16, wherein a length of the short longitudinal divider is insufficient to extend between any one of the at least two pair of coupling members.
