The backpack of claim 7, wherein the first dividing panel and the second dividing panel are coupled to a first divider side panel and a second divider side panel, which extend generally perpendicular to the first dividing panel and the second dividing panel and are connected to the back side of the main compartment. 9. The backpack of claim 8, wherein the first and second dividing panels include a respective padding element between respective rearward surfaces and respective forward surfaces and extend across substantially the width of the main compartment. 10.
