The method of claim 1 further comprising: sending, by the transaction server, a debit message debiting the first account of the individual buyer, wherein the debit message debits an amount equal to the purchase price and a price for shipping the goods;sending, by the transaction server, a first credit message crediting the second account of the individual seller, wherein the first credit message is in an amount equal to the purchase amount; andsending, by the transaction server, a second credit message to a shipper, wherein the second credit message is in an amount equal to the price for shipping the goods. 8. The method of claim 1 further comprising: debiting the first account of the buyer, wherein the first account is a payment card account; andcrediting the second account of the seller to complete the purchase of the goods. 9. The method of claim 1 wherein the transaction server operates an auction site, and wherein the transaction relates to purchasing the goods through the auction site. 10. The method of claim 1 wherein the transaction server operates a classified ad site, and wherein the transaction relates to purchasing the goods through the classified ad site. 11. The method of claim 1 further comprising: recording, by the transaction server, a transaction date and a transaction ID associated with the transaction, and wherein the first account is associated with a first payment card and the second payment account is associated with a second payment card, and wherein the method further comprises issuing a first payment card statement with the transaction ID and a second payment card statement with the transaction ID. 12. A transaction server comprising: a storage device; anda processor connected to the storage device;the storage device storing a program for causing the processor to implement a method comprising:recording, a purchase price of the goods, a first account for an individual buyer and a second account for an individual seller, the seller and the buyer connecting to the transaction server over a network;receiving an indication of a chosen shipper by which to ship the goods from the seller to the buyer; receiving a tracking number identifying the goods to be shipped by the shipper; andreceiving a notification from the shipper regarding a status of the goods associated with the tracking number. 13. The server computer of claim 12 wherein the method further comprises: debiting the first account of the buyer only after the notification is received; andcrediting the second account of the seller to complete the purchase of the goods. 14.
