The battery powered blower of claim 10, wherein the motor is positioned adjacent the battery, and the battery and motor are on the same side of the handle portion. 12. The battery powered blower of claim 11, wherein the fan is located on an opposite side of the handle portion from the battery and motor. 13. The battery powered blower of claim 12, wherein the center of gravity of the blower lies laterally beneath the handle portion. 14. The battery powered blower of claim 13, further comprising a foot member attached to a lower portion of the housing assembly to prevent the housing assembly from contacting the ground.
