An automated system for brewing and dispensing a brewed beverage is provided including a beverage brewing apparatus configured to dispense the brewed beverage into a container. A user interface is disposed with said beverage brewing apparatus. The user interface includes at least one iced beverage user input directed to preparation of the brewed beverage when the brewed beverage is to be dispensed over ice. A controller is operably coupled to the user interface and the beverage brewing apparatus. The controller is programmable to compensate for dilution of the brewed beverage in the container.

An automated system for brewing and dispensing a brewed beverage, the system comprising: a beverage brewing apparatus configured to dispense the brewed beverage into a container;a user interface disposed with said beverage brewing apparatus, said user interface including an input for selecting a brewed beverage that is to be dispensed over ice, said brewed beverage to be dispensed over ice being associated with a stored flavor profile including a desired percentage of total dissolved solids configured to compensate for dilution of said brewed beverage to be dispensed over ice in said container, said desired percentage of total dissolved solids being selected automatically without providing a further input to said beverage brewing apparatus; anda controller operably coupled to said user interface and said beverage brewing apparatus, said controller being programmable to access said stored flavor profile and operate said beverage brewing apparatus to dispense said brewed beverage to be dispensed over ice with said desired percentage of total dissolved solids when said input is selected. 2. The system according to claim 1, wherein said desired percentage of total dissolved solids of said brewed beverage to be dispensed over ice is elevated to compensate for dilution within said container. 3. The system according to claim 1, wherein said stored flavor profile of said brewed beverage to be dispensed over ice has at least one of an extraction between about 16% and 20% and a desired percentage of total dissolved solids between about 2.3% and 2.8%. 4. The system according to claim 1, wherein said diluted brewed beverage in said container is within a gold cup standard. 5. The system according to claim 4, wherein said diluted brewed beverage in said container has an extraction between about 18% and 22% and a percentage of total dissolved solids between about 1.15% and 1.35%. 6. The system according to claim 1, wherein said user interface further comprises another input for selecting a size input of said brewed beverage. 7. The system according to claim 6, wherein said controller is programmable to determine a plurality of operating parameters for preparing said brewed beverage in response to said selected size input. 8. The system according to claim 7, wherein said plurality of operating parameters include at least one of bloom water volume, bloom duration, and total water volume. 9. The system according to claim 6, wherein said size input is selectable from a plurality of size inputs, and a flavor profile of said dispensed brewed beverage for each of said plurality of size inputs is substantially identical. 10. The system according to claim 9, wherein said plurality of size inputs include a mug size, a travel mug size, a half-carafe size, and a carafe size. 11. A method of preparing an iced beverage, comprising: selecting a brewed beverage that is to be dispensed over ice via an input of a user interface of a beverage brewing apparatus, said brewed beverage to be dispensed over ice being associated with a stored flavor profile including a desired percentage of total dissolved solids configured to compensate for dilution of said brewed beverage to be dispensed over ice within a container;accessing said stored flavor profile via a controller operably coupled to the user interface and the beverage brewing apparatus, wherein accessing said stored profile includes automatically selecting said desired percentage of total dissolved solids without providing a further input to said beverage brewing apparatus;automatically preparing said brewed beverage to be dispensed over ice in response to said input; anddispensing from said beverage brewing apparatus said brewed beverage to be dispensed over ice having said desired percentage of total dissolved solids. 12. The method according to claim 11, wherein said desired percentage of total dissolved solids of said brewed beverage to be dispensed over ice is elevator to compensate for dilution within said container. 13. The method according to claim 12, wherein said brewed beverage to be dispensed over ice dispensed from said beverage brewing apparatus has at least one of an extraction between about 16% and 20% and a percentage of total dissolved solids between about 2.3% and 2.8%. 14. The method according to claim 11, wherein said dispensing said brewed beverage to be dispensed over ice includes dispensing said brewed beverage to be dispensed over ice into a container of ice such that dilution of said brewed beverage occurs. 15. The method according to claim 14, wherein upon said dispensing only a portion of said ice is configured to melt. 16. The method according to claim 14, wherein said diluted brewed beverage is within a gold cup standard. 17. The method according to claim 14, wherein said diluted brewed beverage in said container has an extraction between about 18% and 22% and a percentage of total dissolved solids between about 1.15% and 1.35%. 18. The method according to claim 11, further comprising selecting a size input of the brewed beverage via an input of a user interface of a beverage brewing apparatus. 19. The method according to claim 18, wherein said size input is selectable from a plurality of size inputs, and a flavor profile of said dispensed brewed beverage for each of said plurality of size inputs is substantially identical. 20. The method according to claim 18, wherein automatically preparing said brewed beverage in response to said size input includes determining a plurality of operating parameters associated with said selected size input, said plurality of parameters include at least one of bloom water volume, bloom duration, and total water volume.
