The utility vehicle of claim 1, wherein the frame includes a front portion, an intermediate portion coupled to the front portion, and a rear portion coupled to the intermediate portion, and the rear portion includes at least one longitudinally-extending frame member positioned above the muffler, and the pivot location is positioned at a rear end of the longitudinally-extending frame member. 4. The utility vehicle of claim 1, wherein the cargo area includes storage compartment adjacent the cargo surface, and the cargo surface is pivotable relative to the storage compartments. 5. The utility vehicle of claim 1, wherein the cargo area includes a first side wall adjacent the cargo surface and a second side wall opposite the first side wall and adjacent the cargo surface, at least one of the first and second side walls including a storage compartment. 6. The utility vehicle of claim 5, wherein the storage compartment is pivotable with the cargo surface. 7. The utility vehicle of claim 1, further comprising a linear force element positioned below the cargo surface and being configured to move when the cargo surface pivots between the first and second positions. 8. A utility vehicle, comprising: a plurality of ground-engaging members;a frame supported above a ground surface by the ground-engaging members, the frame including a front portion, an intermediate portion coupled to the front portion, and a rear portion coupled to the intermediate portion, and the rear portion including at least one frame member;an operator area including at least an operator seat supported by the frame;a powertrain assembly supported by the frame and including an engine and a continuously variable transmission operably coupled to the engine; anda cargo area having a cargo surface and being pivotable between a first position when the cargo surface is generally parallel to the ground surface and a second position when the cargo surface is angled relative to the ground surface, the cargo area including a support member positioned below the cargo surface and being configured to pivot relative to the frame, the support member being configured to contact the at least one frame member when the cargo surface is in the second position to provide a stop for the cargo surface. 9. The utility vehicle of claim 8, further comprising an exhaust assembly having a muffler and an exhaust conduit fluidly coupled to the muffler, and a portion of the cargo area being positioned over the muffler when in the first and second positions. 10. The utility vehicle of claim 8, wherein the cargo area includes a linear force element (“LFE”) movably coupled to the frame and the cargo area, and the LFE is configured to pivot the cargo area between the first and second positions. 11. The utility vehicle of claim 10, wherein the LFE is coupled to the rear portion of the frame and positioned above the powertrain assembly. 12. The utility vehicle of claim 8, wherein the cargo area includes storage compartment adjacent the cargo surface and the cargo surface is pivotable relative to the storage compartments. 13. The utility vehicle of claim 8, wherein the cargo area includes a first side wall adjacent the cargo surface and a second side wall opposite the first side wall and adjacent the cargo surface, at least one of the first and second side walls including a storage compartment. 14. The utility vehicle of claim 13, wherein the storage compartment is pivotable with the cargo surface. 15. A utility vehicle, comprising: a plurality of ground-engaging members;a frame supported above a ground surface by the ground-engaging members, the frame including a front portion, an intermediate portion coupled to the front portion, and a rear portion coupled to the intermediate portion, and the rear portion including at least one frame member;an operator area including at least an operator seat supported by the frame;a powertrain assembly supported by the frame and including an engine and a continuously variable transmission operably coupled to the engine;a cargo area having a cargo box configured to pivot between a first position when a bottom surface of the cargo box is generally parallel to the ground surface and a second position when the bottom surface is angled relative to the ground surface; anda pivotable stop member positioned within a gap defined between the bottom surface of the cargo bed and an envelope of the vehicle including the rear portion of the frame, and the gap is defined when the cargo box is in the first position. 16. The utility vehicle of claim 15, further comprising an exhaust assembly having a muffler and an exhaust conduit fluidly coupled to the muffler, and a portion of the cargo box being positioned above the muffler when in the first and second positions. 17. The utility vehicle of claim 15, wherein the cargo area includes a linear force element (“LFE”) movably coupled to the frame and the cargo box, and the LFE is configured to pivot the cargo box between the first and second positions. 18. The utility vehicle of claim 17, wherein the LFE is coupled to the rear portion of the frame and positioned above the powertrain assembly. 19. The utility vehicle of claim 15, wherein the cargo area includes storage compartment adjacent the cargo box and the cargo box is pivotable relative to the storage compartments. 20. The utility vehicle of claim 15, wherein the stop member is configured to pivot relative to the frame and cooperate with the at least one frame member of the rear portion of the frame to provide a stop for the cargo surface when the cargo surface is in the second position.
