A system for detaching the mixing vessel from the blade holder, comprising: the device of claim 1;a wrench having, an elongated member having a first end portion and an opposing second end portion,a head region attached to the opposing second end portion, wherein the head region has a top wrench surface and a bottom wrench surface, wherein the bottom wrench surface of the head region has a second raised area, the second raised area being complementarily shaped to the particular shape of the recess on the bottom surface of the blade holder;whereby a user loosens the mixing vessel from the blade holder by applying torque to the elongated member. 13. The system of claim 12, wherein a plurality of gripping members extend from an outer surface of the wall of the mixing vessel whereby removing the blade holder from the mixing vessel is accomplished by the user gripping at least one of the plurality of gripping members with one hand and twisting the elongated member with a different hand. 14. The system of claim 12, wherein the plurality of gripping members are a plurality of ridges substantially equally spaced from each other around the mixing vessel outer surface.
