The child safety seat according to claim 2, wherein the extension member is in the first position while the seat shell is in the first angular position, and the extension member is in the second position while the seat shell is in the second angular position. 4. The child safety seat according to claim 1, wherein the two bent portions respectively extend at an underside of a left and a right armrest of the seat shell. 5. The child safety seat according to claim 1, wherein the extension member, including the transversal portion and the two bent portions, is formed as an integral body. 6. The child safety seat according to claim 1, wherein the seat portion has an upper surface for seating a child, the transversal portion of the extension member is located below the upper surface, and the two bent portions rise higher than the upper surface. 7. The child safety seat according to claim 1, wherein the extension member is further connected with a shield that is deployable above the transversal portion. 8. The child safety seat according to claim 1, wherein the extension member is further assembled with a release part operable to drive unlocking of the latch, the release part is assembled with the extension member for sliding displacement along a lengthwise axis extending from a front to a rear of the seat shell, and is arranged at a central location of the extension member. 10. The child safety seat according to claim 1, further including a base connected with a bottom of the seat shell, the seat shell while in the rear facing configuration being movable relative to the base for adjustment to any of a plurality of angular positions. 11. The child safety seat according to claim 10, wherein the base includes: a shell body having a first and a second end opposite to each other;a locking part movable relative to the shell body to engage the seat shell for locking the seat shell in any of the angular positions; andtwo actuating interfaces respectively arranged adjacent to the first and second end of the shell body, the two actuating interfaces being movable to cause latching and unlatching displacements of the locking part. 12. The child safety seat according to claim 11, wherein the locking part is guided for transversal sliding displacement along a channel of the base and is connected with one of the two actuating interfaces via an elastically deformable arm. 13. The child safety seat according to claim 11, wherein the two actuating interfaces include a first and a second actuating interface, the first and second actuating interfaces are connected with each other via a linkage arrangement, and the second actuating interface is movable to push the first actuating interface in movement for driving the unlatching displacement of the locking part. 14. The child safety seat according to claim 1, wherein the extension member is assembled with the seat shell for sliding displacement along a lengthwise axis extending from a rear to a front of the seat shell. 15. The child safety seat according to claim 1, further including a release part connected with the latch and disposed near the forward end of the extension member, the release part being operable to drive unlocking of the latch. 16. The child safety seat according to claim 1, wherein the seat portion further has a rear end, the forward end deploying horizontally and forward away from the front end of the seat shell in the first position, and the rear end being accommodated within the seat shell in the second position. 17. A child safety seat comprising: a seat shell having a seat portion and a backrest, the seat portion having a front end opposite to the backrest;an extension member movably connected with the seat shell and having a forward end, the extension member having a transversal portion extending across a width of the seat portion, wherein the extension member is adjustable relative to the seat shell between a first position where the forward end deploys forward away from the front end of the seat shell, and a second position in which the extension member is retracted toward the seat shell;a latch operable to lock the extension member in the first position; anda release part assembled with the extension member, the release part being connected with the latch and disposed near the forward end of the extension member, the release part being operable to drive unlocking of the latch. 18. The child safety seat according to claim 17, wherein the extension member further has two bent portions respectively connected with a left and a right side of the transversal portion. 19. The child safety seat according to claim 18, wherein the seat portion has an upper surface for seating a child, and the two bent portions rise higher than the upper surface. 20. The child safety seat according to claim 17, wherein the latch is pivotally connected with the extension member, and the release part is assembled for sliding displacement along a lengthwise axis extending from a front to a rear of the seat shell. 21. The child safety seat according to claim 17, wherein the latch is connected with the extension member, and is movable to engage with the seat shell for locking the extension member in the first position or to disengage from the seat shell for adjustment of the extension member. 22. The child safety seat according to claim 21, further including a first spring operable to bias the latch for engagement with the seat shell, and a second spring operable to bias the release part toward a locking position, the release part when in the locking position blocking disengagement of the latch from the seat shell. 23. A child safety seat comprising: a seat shell having a seat portion and a backrest; anda base connected with a bottom of the seat shell, the seat shell being adjustable relative to the base between a plurality of angular positions, wherein the base includes a shell body on which is placed the seat shell, a locking part and two actuating interfaces, the shell body having a first and a second end opposite to each other, the locking part being assembled with the shell body and being operable to engage the seat shell for locking the seat shell in any one of the angular positions, and the two actuating interfaces being respectively exposed and arranged adjacent to the first and second ends of the shell body, the two actuating interfaces being movable to drive latching and unlatching displacements of the locking part. 24. The child safety seat according to claim 23, wherein the locking part is guided for transversal sliding displacement through a channel of the base and is connected with one of the two actuating interfaces via an elastically deformable arm. 25. The child safety seat according to claim 23, wherein the two actuating interfaces include a first and a second actuating interface, the second actuating interface is movable to push the first actuating interface in movement for driving the unlatching displacement of the locking part. 26. The child safety seat according to claim 23, wherein the seat shell is assembled with an extension member having a forward end, the extension member being configurable between at least a first position where the forward end deploys forward beyond a front end of the seat shell to define an extended foremost end of the child safety seat, and a second position in which the extension member is retracted toward the seat shell.
