The modular shelving system of claim 1 further comprising at least one second side panel coupled to the one or more slots in the first column of at least one of the second legs of the second frame, wherein the second side panel comprises an inner surface and an outer surface. 3. The modular shelving system of claim 1 wherein the first side panel comprises material to allow the side panel to be used as at least one of a marker board, a magnetic board, a chalk board, a tack board, a sticker board, or a design board. 4. The modular shelving system of claim 1 further comprising a media mounting coupled to an exterior surface of the first side panel, wherein the media mounting provides structural support to a media device when a media device is coupled to the media mounting. 5. The modular shelving system of claim 1 further comprising: one or more additional first shelves coupled to one or more slots of the second column of slots in at least one of the first legs of the first frame; andone or more additional second shelves coupled to one or slots of the second column of slots in at least one of the second legs of the second frame and coupled to one or more slots of the first column of slots in at least one of the first legs of the first frame. 6. The modular shelving system of claim 1 further comprising one or more additional linkable shelving assemblies coupled to at least one of the first linkable shelving assembly or the second linkable shelving assembly, wherein each additional linkable shelving assembly comprises a third frame comprising two or more third legs, wherein each third leg comprises a plurality of third slots, and wherein the plurality of third slots are disposed in a first column of slots and a second column of slots. 7. The modular shelving system of claim 6 further comprising one or more third shelves coupled to one or more slots of the first column of slots in at least one of the first legs of the first frame and one or more slots of the second column of slots in at least one of the third legs of the third frame. 8. The modular shelving system of claim 1, wherein the first linkable shelving assembly further comprises a display support panel coupled to the first frame and disposed substantially perpendicularly to the top panel; wherein the display support panel includes a bracket coupled thereto to receive and support an electronic media device coupled to the display support panel. 9. The modular shelving system of claim 1, wherein the first frame of the first linkable shelving assembly further comprises a wire management system that receives, routes, organizes, secures and stores wires, cables, and other electronic accessories from an electronic media device supported and secured by the first linkable shelving assembly. 10. The modular shelving system of claim 1 further comprising an exterior media shelf coupled to an exterior surface of at least one of: one of the at least one first side panel of the first linkable shelving assembly,or a second side panel coupled to the second frame of the second linkable shelving assembly; wherein the exterior media shelf is adapted to retain an object. 11. The modular shelving system of claim 10 further comprising at least one storage member capable of at least partially enclosing at least one of the first linkable shelving assembly or the second linkable shelving assembly. 12. The modular shelving system of claim 1 wherein the at least one first shelf comprises a channel, and wherein the channel is capable of supporting one or more brackets extending approximately perpendicularly from the channel, and wherein at least one of the one or more brackets is capable of acting as a bookend for one or more objects stored on another shelf disposed below the channel. 13. The modular shelving system of claim 1 further comprising a lighting device coupled to one of the at least one the first linkable shelving assembly or the second shelving assembly. 14. The modular shelving system of claim 1 further comprising one or more additional linkable shelving assemblies, wherein at least one of the one or more additional linkable shelving assemblies is coupled to at least one of: the first linkable shelving assemblyor the second linkable shelving assembly, and wherein each of the one or more additional linkable shelving assemblies comprises a third frame comprising two or more third legs, wherein each third leg comprises a plurality of third slots, and wherein the plurality of third slots are disposed in a first column of slots and a second column of slots. 15. A modular shelving system comprising: a first linkable shelving assembly couplable to one or more additional shelving assemblies, wherein the first shelving assembly comprises: a first frame comprising four or more first legs, and wherein each first leg comprises a plurality of first slots, and wherein the plurality of first slots are disposed in a first column of slots and a second column of slots;at least one first side panel coupled to the one or more slots in the first column of slots in at least one of the first legs of the first frame, wherein the first side panel comprises an inner surface and an outer surface,at least one first shelf coupled to one or more slots of the second column of slots in at least one of the first legs of the first frame; anda desk coupled to one or more slots in the second column of slots in at least one of the first legs of the first frame, wherein the desk extends perpendicularly from the first frame. 16. The modular shelving system of claim 15 further comprising a second linkable shelving assembly coupled to the first linkable shelving assembly, wherein the second linkable shelving assembly comprises: a second frame comprising two or more second legs, wherein each second leg comprises a plurality of second slots, and wherein the plurality of second slots are disposed in a first column of slots and a second column of slots;at least one second shelf coupled to one or more slots of the first column of slots in at least one of the first legs of the first frame. 17. The modular shelving system of claim 15 wherein the at least one first shelf comprises at least one of a horizontal shelf, a semi-horizontal shelf, an inclined shelf, a tilted shelf, a two tiered shelf, a multiple tiered shelf, a display shelf, a bookshelf, an electronic media display support platform, or an electronic media organization shelf. 18. The modular shelving system of claim 15 wherein an outer surface of the first side panel of the first linked shelving assembly further comprises a bracket to support an electronic media device. 19. The modular shelving system of claim 15 wherein the desk comprises a first end and a second end, and wherein a first end of the desk is coupled to one or more slots in the second column of slots in at least one of the first legs of the first frame, and wherein a second end of the desk comprises at least one leg. 20. The modular shelving system of claim 16 further comprising an exterior media shelf coupled to an exterior surface of at least one of: one of the at least one first side panel of the first linkable shelving assembly,or a second side panel coupled to the second frame of the second linkable shelving assembly; wherein the exterior media shelf is adapted to retain an object. 21. The modular shelving system of claim 16 further comprising a lighting device coupled to one of the at least one first panels. 22. The modular shelving system of claim 16 further comprising: one or more additional first shelves coupled to one or more slots of the second column of slots in at least one of the first legs of the first frame; andone or more additional second shelves coupled to one or slots of the second column of slots in at least one of the second legs of the second frame and coupled to one or more slots of the first column of slots in at least one of the first legs of the first frame.
