A method of reducing restriction in a borehole, the borehole having a plug reception assembly having one longitudinal end and another longitudinal end and including: a mandrel providing a flowpath, the mandrel configured to receive a plug to block flow through the flowpath in a downhole direction;an elastic member forming a portion of a radially exterior surface of each respective plug reception assembly, the elastic member having one longitudinal end and another longitudinal end;only a single set of slips arranged to maintain the plug reception assembly in anchored relation to a borehole, the single set of slips disposed between the one longitudinal end of the plug reception assembly and the one longitudinal end of the elastic member, and the plug reception assembly being free of slips between the other longitudinal end of the plug reception assembly and the other longitudinal end of the elastic member; andat least one component of the plug reception assembly being disintegratable by an acoustic wave, the at least one component being one that upon disintegration facilitates removal of the plug reception assembly as a restriction in the borehole, the method comprising:exposing the at least one component to the acoustic wave within which the at least one component is configured to disintegrate; andfacilitating restriction reduction. 2. The method of claim 1, further comprising disintegrating substantially all rigid components within the plug reception assembly. 3. The method of claim 1, wherein the plug reception assembly is a frac plug. 4. A method of reducing restriction in a borehole, the borehole having a plug reception assembly, the plug reception assembly defining a flowpath and arranged to receive a plug to block flow through the flowpath in a downhole direction, the plug reception assembly including at least one slip to independently maintain the plug reception assembly in anchored relation to the borehole, the plug reception assembly including at least one component configured to dissolve or disintegrate upon exposure to a selected condition, the method comprising: exposing the at least one component to the selected condition to dissolve or disintegrate the at least one component; andfacilitating restriction reduction;wherein the at least one component is at least one portion of a locking arrangement between a housing and a mandrel of the plug reception assembly, and further comprising defeating the arrangement upon exposing the arrangement to the selected condition, wherein the arrangement maintains the at least one slip of the plug reception assembly in fixed position along the borehole prior to dissolving or disintegrating the at least one portion of the arrangement. 5. The method of claim 4, wherein the at least one portion of the arrangement includes a body lock ring disposed radially between the mandrel and the housing, the body lock ring having inwardly and outwardly facing teeth that ratchet with teeth of the mandrel and teeth of the housing, wherein disintegration or dissolution of the body lock ring defeats a ratcheting engagement between the mandrel and the housing. 6. The method of claim 4, wherein the arrangement allows longitudinal movement of the mandrel towards the housing, and prevents movement of the mandrel in a longitudinal direction away from the housing. 7. The method of claim 4, wherein the arrangement is a ratcheting arrangement. 8. A plug reception assembly having one longitudinal end and another longitudinal end, the plug reception assembly comprising: a mandrel providing a flowpath, the mandrel configured to receive a plug to block flow through the flowpath in a downhole direction;an elastic member forming a portion of a radially exterior surface of the plug reception assembly, the elastic member having one longitudinal end and another longitudinal end;only a single set of slips arranged to maintain the plug reception assembly in anchored relation to a borehole, the single set of slips disposed between the one longitudinal end of the plug reception assembly and the one longitudinal end of the elastic member, and the plug reception assembly being free of slips between the other longitudinal end of the plug reception assembly and the other longitudinal end of the elastic member; andat least one component of the plug reception assembly being configured to disintegrate upon exposure to the acoustic wave, the at least one component being one that upon disintegration facilitates removal of the plug reception assembly as a restriction in the borehole. 9. The plug reception assembly of claim 8, wherein the at least one component is a plurality of rigid components configured to maintain the plug reception assembly in sealed relation to the borehole. 10. The plug reception assembly of claim 8, further comprising only a single slip-actuating cone for actuating the single set of slips. 11. The plug reception assembly of claim 8, wherein the one longitudinal end of the plug reception assembly is a downhole end of the plug reception assembly, and the one longitudinal end of the elastic member is a downhole end of the elastic member. 12. The plug reception assembly of claim 8, wherein a longitudinal length between the one end of the elastic member and the one end of the plug reception assembly is greater than a longitudinal length between the other end of the elastic member and the other end of the plug reception assembly. 13. The plug reception assembly of claim 8, further comprising a housing, the housing additionally providing the flow path, the housing and the mandrel extending along a radially interior surface of the plug reception assembly, wherein longitudinal movement of the mandrel relative to the housing reduces a longitudinal length of the plug reception assembly from the one end of the plug reception assembly to the other end of the plug reception assembly. 14. The plug reception assembly of claim 13, further comprising a locking arrangement between the mandrel and the housing. 15. The plug reception assembly of claim 13, wherein the elastic member is positioned radially outwardly of the mandrel, and the single set of slips is disposed radially outwardly of the housing. 16. The plug reception assembly of claim 15, further comprising a cone disposed radially outwardly of both the mandrel and the housing. 17. A plug reception assembly, comprising: a mandrel providing a flowpath, the mandrel configured to receive a plug to block flow through the flowpath in a downhole direction;at least one slip arranged to maintain the plug reception assembly in anchored relation to a borehole; andat least one component of the plug reception assembly being disintegratable or dissolvable upon exposure to a selected condition, the at least one component being one that upon disintegration or dissolution facilitates removal of the plug reception assembly as a restriction in the borehole;wherein the at least one component is at least one portion of a locking arrangement between a housing and the mandrel of the plug reception assembly, wherein the arrangement maintains the at least one slip of the plug reception assembly in a fixed position along the borehole prior to disintegrating or dissolving the portion of the arrangement. 18. The plug reception assembly of claim 17, wherein the at least one component is a metal alloy. 19. The plug reception assembly of claim 17 wherein the plug reception assembly is a frac plug. 20. The plug reception assembly of claim 17, wherein the at least one portion of the arrangement includes a body lock ring disposed radially between the mandrel and the housing, the body lock ring having inwardly and outwardly facing teeth that ratchet with teeth of the mandrel and teeth of the housing, wherein disintegration or dissolution of the body lock ring defeats a ratcheting engagement between the mandrel and the housing. 21. The plug reception assembly of claim 17, wherein the plug to block flow through the flowpath in a downhole direction is a first plug having a first size, and the flowpath extends from a first end to a second end of the plug reception assembly, the flowpath configured to enable passage of a second plug from a location uphole of the plug reception assembly to a location downhole of the plug reception assembly, the second plug having a second size smaller than the first size. 22. The plug reception assembly of claim 17, wherein the arrangement allows longitudinal movement of the mandrel towards the housing, and prevents movement of the mandrel in a longitudinal direction away from the housing. 23. The plug reception assembly of claim 17, wherein the arrangement is a ratcheting arrangement. 24. A plug reception assembly having one longitudinal end and another longitudinal end, the plug reception assembly comprising: a mandrel providing a flowpath, the mandrel configured to receive a plug to block flow through the flowpath in a downhole direction;an elastic member forming a portion of a radially exterior surface of the plug reception assembly, the elastic member having one longitudinal end and another longitudinal end;only a single set of slips arranged to maintain the plug reception assembly in anchored relation to a borehole, the single set of slips disposed between the one longitudinal end of the plug reception assembly and the one longitudinal end of the elastic member, and the plug reception assembly being free of slips between the other longitudinal end of the plug reception assembly and the other longitudinal end of the elastic member;a housing, the housing additionally providing the flow path, the housing and the mandrel extending along a radially interior surface of the plug reception assembly, wherein longitudinal movement of the mandrel relative to the housing reduces a longitudinal length of the plug reception assembly from the one end of the plug reception assembly to the other end of the plug reception assembly; anda locking arrangement between the mandrel and the housing, the arrangement allows longitudinal movement of the mandrel towards the housing, and prevents movement of the mandrel in a longitudinal direction away from the housing. 25. The plug reception assembly of claim 24, wherein at least a portion of the locking arrangement is disintegrable or dissolvable upon exposure to a selected condition.
