The filtering device according to claim 10, wherein said first central flank extends from a central tip of said funnel section to a junction with said second flank. 12. The filtering device according to claim 11, wherein said outlet zone extends, along a direction parallel to said center axis of said screen plug, at least from a radial center line passing through said central tip of said funnel section to a radial peripheral line passing through a periphery of said funnel section adjacent said clean side of said filter element, wherein said radial peripheral line is parallel to said radial center line and radially aligns with said direction parallel to said center axis of said screen plug. 13. The filter device according to claim 1, wherein said deflection point is defined by a portion of the body of the screen plug, said portion of the body of the screen plug being disposed between and abutting at least a portion of said inlet zone and at least a portion of said outlet zone.
