The connecting system of claim 1, wherein the second electrically-conductive connector portion of the first connector comprises a conductive cylinder. 4. The connecting system of claim 1, wherein the generally-cylindrical projecting portion of the second connector is tapered, such that one end is narrower than another end. 5. The connecting system of claim 1, wherein one of the first electrically-conductive connector portions and the second electrically-conductive portions comprises a cylindrical shape with an outer wall comprised of a conductive material. 6. The connecting system of claim 1, wherein the second connector is in electrical connection with a wiring harness configured to deliver power to a plurality of light sets. 7. The connecting system of claim 6, wherein a portion of the wiring harness is within the first tree trunk recess, and a portion of the wiring harness is outside the first tree trunk recess. 8. The connecting system of claim 7, further comprising a harness-tree plug secured to the cylindrical wall of the first tree trunk portion, and a wire of the wiring harness extends from within the first tree trunk recess through the harness-tree plug and to an exterior of the first tree trunk portion. 9.
