1. A collaboration system for sharing digital content among a plurality of session attendees located at first and second different locations, the collaboration system comprising: at least a first presentation device at the first location including at least a first presentation surface for presenting content to conference attendees at the first location, the at least a first presentation surface capable of presenting a plurality of independent presentation spaces for presenting content;at least a second presentation device at the second location including at least a second presentation surface for presenting content to conference attendees at the second location, the at least a second presentation surface capable of presenting a plurality of independent presentation spaces for presenting content;at least a first processor associated with the at least a first presentation device and the at least a second presentation device for controlling content presented in the presentation spaces, the processor presenting different subsets of session content on the at least a first and at least a second presentation surfaces and visually indicating on at least the first presentation surface in a distinguishing fashion any differences between the content presented on the at least a first presentation surface and the at least a second presentation surface. 2. The system of claim 1 wherein the processor indicates differences between content presented by indicating content that is only presented on the first presentation surface. 3. The system of claim 2 wherein the processor further indicates content commonly presented on each of the first and second presentation surfaces. 4. The system of claim 2 wherein the at least a first processor further presents a panel section including thumbnail icons of each of a plurality of session images on the first presentation surface as well as larger representations of a subset of session images in presentation spaces and wherein the processor indicates differences between the content presented by visually distinguishing thumbnail images in a first way that correspond to larger representations that are only presented on the first presentation surface. 5. The system of claim 4 wherein the processor further indicates larger representations commonly presented on each of the first and second presentation devices by visually distinguishing thumbnail icons in a second way that are presented on the first presentation surface. 6. The system of claim 5 wherein the at least a first processor further presents a panel section including thumbnail icons of each of a plurality of session images on the second presentation surface as well as larger representations of a subset of session images in presentation spaces on the second presentation surface and wherein the processor indicates differences between the content presented by visually distinguishing thumbnail images on the second presentation surfaces that correspond to larger representations that are only presented on the first presentation surface. 7. The system of claim 6 wherein the processor further indicates larger representations commonly presented on each of the first and second presentation devices by visually distinguishing thumbnail icons in a second way that are presented on the second presentation surface. 8. A collaboration system for sharing digital content among a plurality of session attendees located at first and second different locations, the collaboration system comprising: at least a first presentation device at the first location including at least a first presentation surface for presenting content to conference attendees at the first location, the at least a first presentation surface capable of presenting a first presentation space sub-set including a first plurality of independent presentation spaces for presenting content;at least a second presentation device at the second location including at least a second presentation surface for presenting content to conference attendees at the second location, the at least a second presentation surface capable of presenting a second presentation space sub-set including a second plurality of independent presentation spaces for presenting content;at least a first processor maintaining a session content set for an ongoing content sharing session, the session content set including subsets of session content, the at least a first processor associated with the at least a first presentation device and the at least a second presentation device for controlling content presented in the presentation spaces, the processor programmed to perform the steps of:(i) presenting different first and second subsets of session content in the first and second presentation space sub-sets, respectively; and(ii) on each of the first and second presentation surfaces, visually indicating common content that is presented in each of the first and second presentation space subsets. 9. The system of claim 8 wherein the processor is further programmed to, on at least the first presentation surface, indicate content presented in the first presentation space sub-set that is different than content presented in the second presentation space sub-set. 10. The system of claim 9 wherein the processor is further programmed to, on the second presentation surface, indicate content presented in first presentation space sub-set that is different than content presented in the second presentation space sub-set. 11. The system of claim 10 wherein the processor further programmed to, on each of the first and second presentation surfaces, indicate session content that is not presented in either of the first and second presentation space sub-sets. 12. The system of claim 11 wherein the processor is further programmed to present a panel section on each of the first and second presentation surfaces, each panel section including thumbnail icons of session content. 13. The system of claim 12 wherein the thumbnail icons on the first presentation surface include a first set indicating content presented in the first presentation space sub-set and a second set indicating session content that is not presented in the first presentation space sub-set. 14. The system of claim 13 wherein the first set of thumbnail icons is further divided into thumbnail icons corresponding to content that is commonly presented in the first and second presentation space sub-sets and content that is only presented in the first presentation space sub-set and not in the second presentation space sub-set. 15. The system of claim 10 further including first and second interfaces associated with the first and second presentation devices, respectively, wherein each of the first and second interfaces is useable to control content presented in each of the first and second presentation space sub-sets. 16. The system of claim 15 wherein the first presentation device includes at least a first touch sensitive display device and the second presentation device includes at least a second touch sensitive display device. 17. A system for content collaboration, the system comprising: a first collaboration configuration including at least a first display having a first display surface;a second collaboration configuration including a least a second display having a second display surface;a processor maintaining a session dataset including a plurality of objects arranged in a relative juxtaposition with respect to each other;the processor presenting first and second different views of the session via the at the least first and second display surfaces, respectively, wherein at least some of the first view overlaps with some of the second view; andvisually indicating in a distinguishing fashion, via the at least a first display surface, content presented in the second view that is not presented in the first view. 18. The system of claim 17 wherein the processor further indicates, via the at least a second display surface, content presented in the second view that is not presented in the first view. 19. The system of claim 18 wherein the at least a first display includes a plurality of independent displays that provide a plurality of display surfaces and wherein the at least a second display includes a plurality of independent displays that provide another plurality of display surfaces. 20. The system of claim 17 wherein the at least a first display includes a single display device that forms a single first display surface.
