An item dispenser for attachment to a substantially vertical surface, the item dispenser comprising: a platform configured with a substantially flat side, the substantially flat side adapted for attachment to the vertical surface;an item holder removably attachable to the platform, wherein the item holder comprises a plurality of spaced apart pins arranged on a rear surface of the item holder;the platform comprising respectively positioned plurality of keyhole slots disposed at different heights on a platform surface, wherein the item holder is attached to the platform via the keyhole and pin arrangement;wherein the platform comprises a base configured to prevent an item from falling out of the item holder and that facilitates removal of the item from a dispensing slot; andwherein the item holder and platform are configured such that the item holder may be attached in at least two different positions so as to vary the size of the dispensing slot formed between the bottom of the item holder and the base. 2. A dispenser as in claim 1, wherein the platform is removably attachable to the substantially vertical surface. 3. A dispenser as in claim 1, wherein the platform is permanently attachable to the substantially vertical surface. 4. A dispenser as in claim 1, wherein the platform and the item holder are fabricated from materials selected from a group consisting of: plastic, wood, or metal. 5.
