Provided through the present application are a method and an apparatus for use in a radio communication system, which supports carrier aggregation and carries out communication in subframe units. More specifically, user equipment operating in a first type carrier for receiving from a base station, a first piece of control information, which is related to the first type carrier and a second type carrier that support the carrier aggregation, can measure a radio signal to carry out radio resource management with respect to the first type carrier by using a first reference signal, which is included in the first type carrier, and/or a second reference signal, which is included in the second type carrier.

1. A method of performing synchronization in a wireless communication system, the method comprising: receiving, by a user equipment which is a fixed device, from a serving cell having a first carrier frequency, information on a non-serving cell having a second carrier frequency, wherein the information on the non-serving cell is received via a radio resource control (RRC) signal;receiving, by the user equipment, from the non-serving cell, a synchronization signal while staying in a coverage of the serving cell, wherein the user equipment receives the synchronization signal when the user equipment does not receive the synchronization signal from the serving cell; anddecoding, by the user equipment, a data signal received from the serving cell by using the synchronization signal from the non-serving cell. 2. The method of claim 1, wherein the data signal is used for radio resource management (RRM) of the user equipment, wherein the data signal is received via a first type carrier and the synchronization signal is received via a second type carrier, wherein the first type carrier does not include a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) and the second type carrier includes the PDCCH. 3. The method of claim 2, wherein the data signal is used for measuring at least one of reference signal received power (RSRP), reference signal received quality (RSRQ), or path loss. 4. The method of claim 2, wherein the first type carrier and the second type carrier are aggregated by the user equipment. 5. The method of claim 2, wherein the data signal includes a cell specific reference signal (CRS). 6. The method of claim 2, wherein a first cyclic prefix is applied to the first type carrier and a second cyclic prefix which is different from the first cyclic prefix is applied to the second type carrier. 7. A user equipment performing synchronization in a wireless communication system, comprising: a radio frequency (RF) unit configured to receive a signal; anda processor coupled to the RF unit and configured to:receive, from a serving cell having a first carrier frequency, information on a non-serving cell having a second carrier frequency, wherein the information on the non-serving cell is received via a radio resource control (RRC) signal;receive a synchronization signal while staying in a coverage of the serving cell, wherein the user equipment receives the synchronization signal when the user equipment does not receive the synchronization signal from the serving cell; anddecode a data signal received from the serving cell by using the synchronization signal from the non-serving cell, wherein the user equipment is a fixed device. 8. The user equipment of claim 7, wherein the data signal is used for radio resource management (RRM) of the user equipment, wherein the data signal is received via a first type carrier and the synchronization signal is received via a second type carrier, wherein the first type carrier does not include a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) and the second type carrier includes the PDCCH. 9. The user equipment of claim 8, wherein the data signal is used for measuring at least one of reference signal received power (RSRP), reference signal received quality (RSRQ), or path loss. 10. The user equipment of claim 8, wherein the first type carrier and the second type carrier are aggregated by the user equipment. 11. The user equipment of claim 8, wherein the data signal includes a cell specific reference signal (CRS). 12. The user equipment of claim 8, wherein a first cyclic prefix is applied to the first type carrier and a second cyclic prefix which is different from the first cyclic prefix is applied to the second type carrier.
