An exercise machine with multiple contact surfaces for providing secondary exercise support platforms positioned at various planes relative to the horizontal plane of the primary exercising platforms, the secondary platforms further serving as handles used during the performance of exercises. The exercise machine with multiple contact surfaces generally includes a frame, a carriage movably attached to the rail, and a first support structure and a second support structure attached to the frame near the first end. The support structures each include one or more platforms having an upper surface that is positioned above the base plane of the carriage.

1. An exercise machine with multiple contact surfaces, comprising: a frame having a first end, a second end and a longitudinal axis, wherein the frame includes a rail;a first stationary platform connected to the frame near the first end;a second stationary platform connected to the frame near the second end;a carriage movably connected to the rail, wherein the carriage is movable between the first end and the second end of the rail and wherein the carriage has an upper surface aligned with a first plane;a biasing member connected to the carriage, wherein the biasing member is adapted to provide a biasing force to the carriage; anda first support structure and a second support structure attached to the frame near the first end, wherein the first support structure and the second support structure are positioned on opposing sides of the longitudinal axis of the frame and extend upwardly from the frame, wherein the first support structure and the second support structure each include a plurality of surfaces at different angles configured to simultaneously support multiple surfaces of the exerciser, wherein the first support structure and the second support structure are each configured to provide a plurality of locations to grasp by the exerciser and wherein the first support structure and the second support structure each include a first platform having an upper surface configured to support the wrists of the exerciser, wherein the upper surface of the first platform is aligned with a second plane, wherein the second plane is positioned above the first plane of the carriage;wherein the upper surface of the first platform is stationary;wherein the first support structure and the second support structure each include a first handle;wherein the first handle is positioned below the upper surface of the first platform;wherein the upper surface of the first platform includes a first portion that is substantially parallel with respect to the longitudinal axis of the exercise machine;wherein the first support structure and the second support structure each include an upper handle that extends upwardly from the upper surface of the first platform;wherein the first support structure and the second support structure mirror one another. 2. The exercise machine of claim 1, wherein the first handle is substantially vertically orientated. 3. The exercise machine of claim 2, wherein the first handle has a cylindrical shape. 4. The exercise machine of claim 1, wherein the first handle has an inner face, wherein the inner face is substantially flat. 5. The exercise machine of claim 4, wherein the inner face of the first handle is angled with respect to the upper surface of the first platform. 6. The exercise machine of claim 1, wherein the upper surface of the first platform is elongated and narrow. 7. The exercise machine of claim 1, wherein the upper surface of the first platform is substantially straight. 8. The exercise machine of claim 1, wherein the upper surface of the first platform includes a second portion that is aligned substantially transversely with the first portion. 9. The exercise machine of claim 8, wherein the second portion of the upper surface of the first platform extends outwardly away from the longitudinal axis forming an L-shaped surface. 10. The exercise machine of claim 8, wherein the first portion and the second portion of the upper surface of the first platform are on the same plane. 11. The exercise machine of claim 8, wherein the first support structure and the second support structure each include a leg press platform extending downwardly from the first platform, wherein the leg press platform has a substantially flat surface that is aligned on a plane that is at an angle with respect to the longitudinal axis of the frame. 12. The exercise machine of claim 11, wherein the first handle extends downwardly from the leg press platform. 13. The exercise machine of claim 1, wherein the upper handle extends away from a center location of the frame at an upward angle. 14. The exercise machine of claim 1, wherein the first support structure and the second support structure each include a second platform extending from the upper handle, wherein the second platform has an upper surface. 15. The exercise machine of claim 14, wherein the second platform extends inwardly toward a central longitudinal axis of the frame. 16. The exercise machine of claim 15, wherein the second platform extends along an axis that is substantially transverse with respect to the central longitudinal axis of the frame. 17. The exercise machine of claim 14, wherein the second platform extends along an axis that is substantially transverse with respect to the first platform. 18. The exercise machine of claim 14, wherein the upper surface of the second platform is aligned with a third plane, wherein the third plane is above the second plane and the first plane. 19. The exercise machine of claim 18, wherein the first plane, the second plane and the third plane are parallel with respect to one another. 20. The exercise machine of claim 18, wherein a first distance between the first plane and the second plane is substantially greater than a second distance between the second plane and the third plane. 21. The exercise machine of claim 1, wherein the first support structure and the second support structure distally spaced apart from one another and are not connected directly to one another. 22. The exercise machine of claim 1, wherein the first support structure and the second support structure distally spaced apart from one another and are individually movable toward or apart from one another along an axis traverse to the longitudinal axis of the base structure. 23. The exercise machine of claim 1, wherein the frame is movably connected to a base. 24. The exercise machine of claim 23, wherein the first end and/or the second end of the frame are adapted to be elevated and/or lowered by an actuator about a pitch axis. 25. The exercise machine of claim 24, wherein the frame is adapted to be rotated about the longitudinal axis (or a roll axis). 26. The exercise machine of claim 1, wherein the frame is non-movably attached to a base. 27. The exercise machine of claim 1, wherein the biasing member is comprised of a spring.
