The bone implant as recited in claim 4, wherein the first and second side wire segments define a first neck at the first end, the first and second side wire segments define a second neck at the second end, and the first and second side wire segments attach to each other at each of the first and second necks. 6. The bone implant as recited in claim 1, wherein each of the first and second side wire segments defines an inner surface that faces the inner surface of the other of the first and second side wire segments, and the inner surfaces are threaded at the at least one aperture. 7. The bone implant as recited in claim 1, wherein the at least one aperture is substantially circular. 8. The bone implant as recited in claim 1, wherein the at least one aperture is elongate along the longitudinal axis. 9. The bone implant as recited in claim 1, wherein the first and second side wire segments further define a compression aperture that extends through the implant body, the compression aperture is located between the at least one aperture and the at least one additional aperture along the longitudinal direction, and the first and second side wire segments are configured to be crimped at the compression aperture so as to decrease the maximum dimension of the bone implant along the longitudinal direction. 13. The bone implant as recited in claim 1, wherein the at least one aperture defines a central axis, and the first and second side wire segments are configured to be bent so as to adjust an angle of the central axis with respect to the longitudinal axis. 14. The bone implant as recited in claim 1, wherein the first and second side wire segments are mirror images of each other. 15. The bone implant as recited in claim 1, wherein the implant body defines a bone facing surface and an outer surface that is spaced from the bone facing surface, and each of the first and second side wire segments at least partially defines an attachment location configured to attach to bone. 16. The bone implant as recited in claim 15, wherein the at least one aperture is a first aperture, the at least one additional aperture is a second aperture, and the attachment location comprises a third aperture defined by the first and second side wire segments. 17.
