The present disclosure relates to a display device for generating sound by directly vibrating a display panel thereof, which includes a display panel connected to a surface of the display panel and configured to display an image; and a sound generating actuator, which is fixed to a support structure of the display panel and attached to the display panel to directly vibrate the display panel. In the display device, the progressing direction of the sound coincides with the image output direction in the display device. Therefore, sound localization or sound output characteristics of the display device or set apparatus can be improved, and a separate speaker is not required, the mechanism of the set apparatus can be easily designed, and a thickness thereof can be easily reduced.

The display device of claim 1, wherein the support structure comprises a support hole to accommodate the sound generating actuator. 3. The display device of claim 1, wherein the support structure is configured to cover and support the display panel. 4. The display device of claim 1, wherein the baffle part comprises at least one of an adhesive member and a sealing part disposed outside of the adhesive member. 5. The display device of claim 1, further comprising: a source printed circuit board (PCB) on the display panel; anda buffer member between the support structure and the source PCB. 6. The display device of claim 1, wherein the sound generating actuator comprises: a plate connected to the support structure;a magnet disposed on the plate;a center pole disposed at a center of the plate;a bobbin surrounding the center pole and connected to the display panel; anda coil wound around the bobbin. 7. The display device of claim 6, wherein the plate includes an extension part connected to an exterior surface of the support structure. 8. The display device of claim 1, wherein the support structure comprises: a cover bottom covering a rear side of the display panel; anda middle cabinet supporting an edge of the display panel, the middle cabinet comprising an area division member arranged to separate a space between the support structure and the display panel into a first area and a second area, the first area including a source printed circuit board (PCB) and the second area including the sound generating actuator. 9. The display device of claim 1, further comprising a source printed circuit board (PCB) disposed on the display panel, wherein the support structure comprises: a recessed part located in an interior surface of the support structure, the recessed part being located opposite the source PCB disposed on the display panel; anda first buffer member disposed in the recessed part between the support structure and the source PCB. 10. The display device of claim 1, further comprising a source printed circuit board (PCB) on the display panel and configured to drive the display panel, wherein the support structure comprises a second buffer member in contact with both the interior surface of the support structure and the display panel, the second buffer member separating a space between the support structure and the display panel into a first area and a second area, the first area including the source PCB and the second area including the sound generating actuator. 11. The display device of claim 1, further comprising another sound generating actuator. 12. The display device of claim 11, wherein the two sound generating actuators are symmetrically arranged. 13. The display device of claim 11, wherein the support structure further comprises a reinforcement member extending between or through the two sound generating actuators. 14. The display device of claim 1, wherein the support structure is a cover bottom of the display device. 15. The display device of claim 1, wherein the thickness of the air gap is from about 1.0 mm to 3.0 mm. 16. The display device of claim 1, further comprising a sound compensation member. 17. The display device of claim 1, wherein the air gap is provided in a predetermined section around the sound generating actuator, and wherein the baffle part is disposed at an edge of the predetermined section to surround the air gap in the predetermined section. 18. The display device of claim 1, wherein the sound generating actuator is configured to vibrate the display panel to generate sound projecting in a direction coinciding with an image output direction of the display panel to localize the output sound. 19. An apparatus, comprising: a display panel configured to display an image;at least two sound generating actuators respectively disposed at different areas of the display panel and respectively configured to vibrate the different areas of the display panel to generate sound; anda support structure configured to support at least one of the sound generating actuators,wherein the support structure comprises a reinforcement member extending between two of the at least two sound generating actuators or extending through a space between two of the at least two sound generating actuators, andwherein the reinforcement member is configured to reduce sound distortion by different vibrations respectively generated in the different areas of the display panel. 20. The apparatus of claim 19, wherein the at least two sound generating actuators are configured to generate stereo sound. 21. The apparatus of claim 19, wherein the at least two sound generating actuators are symmetrically arranged. 22. The apparatus of claim 19, wherein the at least two sound generating actuators are capable of generating different vibrations from one another to generate different sounds in the respective areas of the display panel. 23. The apparatus of claim 19, further comprising a baffle part at a rear side of the display panel separating one of the different areas from another of the different areas. 24. The apparatus of claim 19, wherein the sound generating actuators are configured to vibrate the display panel to generate sound projecting in a direction coinciding with an image output direction of the display panel to localize the output sound. 25. An apparatus, comprising: a display panel configured to display an image;a sound generating actuator configured to vibrate the display panel to generate sound;an area division member at a rear side of the display panel and separating an area at the rear side of the display panel into a first area and a second area, the first area including a source printed circuit board (PCB), and the second area including the sound generating actuator;a support structure covering the rear side of the display panel, with an air gap between the display panel and the support structure in the second area; anda baffle part disposed at an edge of the second area between the support structure and the display panel to surround the air gap in the second area,wherein the display panel is configured to generate sound waves in the air gap in the second area when vibrated by the sound generating actuator, andwherein the baffle part surrounds the air gap to reduce leakage of the sound waves out of the air gap in the second area.
