The automatic discharge device of claim 4, wherein the drive unit includes a drive motor having a motor gear in association with a reduction gear train and wherein the reduction gear train includes a drive gear, a first pinion, an idler gear, a second pinion, and a lever gear. 6. The automatic discharge device of claim 5, wherein the drive gear is attached to the first pinion and the idler gear is attached to the second pinion, and wherein the motor gear is in mechanical association with the drive gear, the first pinion is in mechanical association with the idler gear, and the second pinion is in mechanical association with the lever gear. 7. The automatic discharge device of claim 1, wherein the first compartment includes a cut out portion to assist in removal of the battery. 8. An automatic discharge system, comprising: an automatic discharge device and a container configured to be received within the automatic discharge device,wherein the container includes a body having an inwardly tapering neck and a valve stem extending above the neck,wherein the automatic discharge device includes a housing having a recess for receipt of the body of the container, a first groove configured to receive a portion of the valve stem, a first compartment for receipt of a battery, and an actuator disposed proximate the first groove,wherein the recess is partially defined by a bottom surface with a second groove and includes a tapered upper end configured to closely fit the neck of the container, andwherein the first groove defines lateral sidewalls and has an open forward end to receive the valve stem. 9. The automatic discharge system of claim 8, wherein the first compartment is separate from the recess. 10. The automatic discharge system of claim 8, wherein longitudinal axis of the first compartment is substantially parallel to a longitudinal axis of the recess. 11. The automatic discharge system of claim 8, wherein the actuator is in communication with a drive unit having at least one gear. 12. The automatic discharge system of claim 11, wherein the drive unit includes a drive motor having a motor gear in association with a reduction gear train and wherein the reduction gear train includes a drive gear, a first pinion, an idler gear, a second pinion, and a lever gear. 13. An automatic discharge device configured to receive a container, the container including a body having an inwardly tapering neck and a valve stem extending above the neck, the automatic discharge device comprising: a dispenser including a housing and an aperture, the housing having a recess for receipt of the body of the container and a groove configured to receive a portion of the valve stem;a first compartment for receipt of a battery;a switch proximate the first compartment; andan actuator disposed proximate the groove,wherein the recess includes a tapered upper end configured to fit the neck of the container,wherein the groove defines lateral sidewalls and has an open forward end to receive the valve stem, andwherein the aperture is configured to be collinear with a discharge orifice of the valve stem of the container. 16. The automatic discharge device of claim 15, wherein the first compartment is separate from the recess. 17. The automatic discharge device of claim 15, wherein a longitudinal axis of the first compartment is substantially parallel to a longitudinal axis of the recess. 18. The automatic discharge device of claim 15, wherein the actuator is in communication with a drive unit having at least one gear. 19. The automatic discharge device of claim 18, wherein the drive unit includes a drive motor having a motor gear in association with a reduction gear train and wherein the reduction gear train includes a drive gear, a first pinion, an idler gear, a second pinion, and a lever gear. 20.
