1. A gas apparatus for use in a medical procedure comprising: a housing defining a chamber having a gas inlet and a gas outlet;a heater configured to warm a gas flowing through the chamber, wherein the heater comprises a portion configured for insertion into a central opening; anda humidification material adjacent to the heater, the humidification material comprising the central opening configured to receive the portion of the heater and the humidification material comprising at least two gas flow channels configured to flow gas over the humidification material. 2. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the heater comprises a heater housing in fluid communication with the gas inlet. 3. The apparatus of claim 2, wherein the heater housing comprises a plurality of holes. 4. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the central opening of the humidification material comprises a cylindrical central opening. 5. The apparatus of claim 4, wherein the portion of the heater comprises a cylindrical portion configured for insertion into the cylindrical central opening of the humidification material. 6. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the medical procedure is a laparoscopic procedure. 7. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the humidification material comprises eight gas flow channels. 8. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein a plurality of holes directs the gas to flow into the at least two gas flow channels. 9. The gas apparatus of claim 1, wherein a wall of the chamber of the housing defines a portion of a gas flow channel of the at least two gas flow channels of the humidification material. 10. A method for using a gas apparatus in a medical procedure, the method comprising: receiving a gas at a gas inlet of a chamber, the chamber defined by a housing of the gas apparatus;warming the gas with a heater of the gas apparatus as the gas flows through the chamber to a gas outlet of the chamber; andhumidifying the gas as the gas flows through the chamber in at least two gas flow chambers of a humidification material positioned adjacent to the heater in the chamber;wherein the heater comprises a portion that is at least partially positioned in a central opening of the humidification material. 11. The method of claim 10, further comprising: receiving gas from the gas inlet at a heater housing of the heater, where the heater housing is in fluid communication with the gas inlet. 12. The method of claim 11, wherein the heater housing comprises a plurality of holes through which the gas exits the heater. 13. The method of claim 12, further comprising: directing the gas exiting the heater into the at least two gas flow chambers of the humidification material using the plurality of holes of the heater housing. 14. The method of claim 10, wherein the central opening of the humidification material comprises a cylindrical central opening. 15. The method of claim 14, wherein the portion of the heater comprises a cylindrical portion configured for insertion into the cylindrical central opening of the humidification material. 16. The method of claim 10, wherein the medical procedure is a laparoscopic procedure. 17. The method of claim 10, wherein humidifying the gas as the gas flows through the chamber in at least two gas flow chambers of the humidification material comprises: humidifying the gas as the gas flows through eight gas flow channels of the humidification material. 18. The method of claim 10, wherein a wall of the chamber of the gas apparatus defines a portion of a gas flow channel of the at least two gas flow channels of the humdification material.
