The peripheral sealing gland of claim 1, wherein the resealable split includes mating surfaces that are complementary and configured to form the first seal when resealed, and wherein the compression clamp is configured to mate the mating surfaces to close the resealable split. 5. The peripheral sealing gland of claim 4, wherein the resealable split includes an undercut running along each of the first external surface and the second external surface; and wherein the first external surface and the second external surface are opposed to the mating surfaces. 6. The peripheral sealing gland of claim 5, wherein the compression clamp is configured to apply a third pressure to either the first side of the resealable split or the second side of the resealable split by continuous contact at the undercut. 7. The peripheral sealing gland of claim 1, wherein the ring is split to under engage and apply sealing pressure at least along part of the resealable split on the flange. 8. The peripheral sealing gland of claim 1, wherein the flange comprises a silicone material. 9. The peripheral sealing gland of claim 12, further comprising undercuts formed in each of the continuous upstands, the undercuts structured to receive the compression clamp, the compression clamp configured to apply the sealing pressure to either the first side of the resealable split or the second side of the resealable split by continuous contact at the undercuts. 14. The peripheral sealing gland of claim 13, wherein each of the at least two pressure application surfaces are presented from a pressure application member, each of the pressure application members being joined by the first connection member and the second connection member, the compression clamp applying a continuous sealing pressure along the length of the resealable split by the pressure application surfaces engaging with each of the undercuts. 15.
